Well I haven't actually been to Perth. Though I was told by a reliable source that the tap water there can sometimes be brown (though they assured me that it still tastes fine, though personally I wouldn't want to drink it). I think I heard the same thing for Adelaide.
Still, visiting Perth is on the todo list. I just need time, money and an excuse. I really should tour the rest of this large sun scorched country as well, sometime. |

It's worse when you're an Aussie visiting New Zealand, than if you're a Kiwi. I was talking to people on the net back home when I was there and some of the comments I got!

Never been to Perth! The water can be discolored, but only when they're cleaning out the pipes. They don't clean the pipes out very often, though.
Btw Anelise, why on earth would it be the drugs that they like Perth? They could just go to Amsterdam, and it'd be much better. |

Ahh true, but we were discussing whether Melbourne or Perth is more preferable: Amsterdam just doesn't get a mention, unless of course, a bunch of Amsterdamians come on over here and start telling us that THEY are better than the lot of us!
