I used to be fixated with reading crime scene investigation books, how the police solved real life crime scenes etc.
Now it is...
Animals, mainly endangered bird species.
Researching medical conditions, learning about them, mainly neurological and cardiological conditions. |

the bass clarinet (promoting its application to non-classical music)
music (about ten obsessions in this catagory, won't bore you with all of them)
minimizing and organizing my possessions (having the absolute minimal amount of stuff needed to do everything i need and want to do)
cases for things (this applies to all of the above obsessions- i want a case for everything i do, with a seperate pocket for everything i need to do it!)
if you don't count my six (!) instrument cases, i can carry everything i own comfortably at once. i don't really like all those damn saxophones anyway, i wish people would stop hiring me to play them |

Anthropolgy: Everything up to the emergence of Homo Sapiens Sapiens. After that I lose interest in humans, though I am still interested in the rest of the primates. Biggest highlight of my life was being allowed in the monkey cages in the zoo when I was on a school excursion once. The rest of the school had left to sketch rhino's or some other useless thing. I hightailed it straight to the monkey cages and got to go inside three of them and talked to the monkey house keeper for about three hours about all the different monkeys and where they evolved from and their relationships and what it took to care for them. Got in to see the marmoset and the tamarin. Also got a hug from a chimp (which is an ape, not a monkey, so forgive my previous use of slang) and it peed on my shoes. Which was fantastic. Anyhow, enough reminiscing.
Computing/Electronics. I am now an on again off again computer science student.
