One forum I am on... I have been temporarly banned 3 times... just for posting "spam" threads (not "advertising" spam, but "random" spam).
However, one member makes fun of me (calls me an emo and a cutter) because I have Asperger's. Just because I have it. He said so himself. He never even got a warning. And I did tell him to stop and he wouldn't.
Other members (just a small group) have been mean to me... it ruined my whole experience on the forum.
Finally, i got so fed up I posted this:

Because some of the members are mean to me...and nobody cares. I can be called an 'emo' for having Asperger's and the offenders get away with it.
I'm sorry, but thats the way it is. If those members are going to treat me like a piece of $h!t because I have Asperger's and they not get in trouble, I will not endorse this forum. |
The moderator banned me for "spamming".

I didn't know I was spamming. I was just posting threads that I thought were important but they didnt think so |

Generally, when you start to develop
a reputation early as a spammer, or
less than proper member of a community,
a lot of the established people will take
a piss on you.
Basically, until you've proven your worth
at something like what you're talking about,
it's best to maintain a low profile. A gaming
site that I'm well established on is pretty much
the same way. Though, I think that would take
your final outburst as a reason to just flame
you, rather than banning. |

Actually one one forum... long time ago... they ALL made fun of me for having Asperger's... and last time I looked they were saying things like "Aimee must die".... they were picking on me because I was different. Stupid cliquey members (and admins and moderators were picking on me too).
And they banned me for having it. |

That's beyond reasonable.
I'd suggest hanging out on
more mature forums. Ones
where the admins are not
bullies. |

I've run into similar problems on other forums, such as DemonSeal.Net, and AMV.Org's forums. Apparently, only enjoying anime to a limited extent is not good enough. You have to cosplay, you have to buy everything anime in existence, or you're not truly a fan.
Practically everyone was part of one big group that loved to meet at conventions, but I was always "that OTHER user". They went so far when I mentioned my interest in firearms, to take pictures of myself with a rifle (from the "post your picture" thread common on most forums), and inserted it with me in a bell tower of a book depository. Gee... can't tell what they were implying with that one...
They still have me banned, because I made it my mission to take up my complaints with the fatass wussy of a forum owner about all the crap I had taken. That was a bad move, as the fatass was just as cruel, just as blatantly anti-gun, and started making up excuses for why I wasn't given respect instead of giving me a straight forward answer.
I've tried other forums, but it always ends up the same. Furthermore, I don't usually post much on a forum, so it's kind of uncomfortable to be around other users who have somewhere within the thousands of posts under their belt. They never treat me as though I'm a "real forum member", but rather one step above an anonymous poster.
