I've recently started playing Guild Wars again, and am looking for a decent guild.

I dunno, but if you find one, I am a guild wars gamer. I don't have a guild at the moment, I likewise have taken some time off and only just looking to get back into it. I only have one character but it's been everywhere except the very end of nightfall.
There was talk elsewhere of someone starting an aspie guild but that was a month ago. I've added all those to my friends list but haven't seen any of them online. If ya wanna stick me on your friends list type in "Izaak Zapruder" it's my pvp char. I don't use it that often but it sorta appropriate. |

| The end of nightfall is near impossible, isnt it? My favorite character (a dervish) has gotten up to the second last mission in the normal campaign, and it just seems impossible. I've spent more time trying to get even halfway into that mission than it took my dervish to clear all of factions. |

I've recently started to play GW. I'm enjoying it but I always run into the ame trouble in these sorts of game - I fancy playing with other people but when I do I find it suffocating and don't really talk to anyone. So, if you fancy playing but don't need me to talk then PM me and we can play together. I only have prophesies and am only at level 8 so I'm really a beginner.
Also, I keep seeing items in the game that the text describing the item is in differing colours - ie, you might see an axe which "axe" is in light blue or in light green or something. What is that about?
Like I say, I'm a complete novice at GW.

the colour represents rarity - white is normal, light blue has a slightly valuable ability, gold a rare ability, and green a unique ability (i.e. there's only 1 monster in the entire game that can drop it, and that monster just happens to be a boss).
As for talking to people, what I do is do all the normal missions with henchmen, and all the co-operative missions (the ones that you select to enter through the party menu) with people. If someone does good, compliment that.
About 80% of the game can be done on your own with heroes, but after that you will need to have found some good players to work with if you want to succeed, and a good communication, even if its just scribbling on the minimap, becomes vital. |

But then I've played on Xbox live with folk and they end up commenting that I never speak. It's like the phone BUT ONLY WORSE.

Well actually Kaija Rei is now almost lv. 17 Warrior/Ranger and I have Emperess of Serenity who is lv. 7 Elementalist/Monk. |

I just got Eye of the North recently too... my lv. 20 is Kaija Rei, catch me on there sometime tech, you should get Nightfall and Prophecies too, I just need Factions yet. |

I did just get Nightfall, don't think I'll have any time to play it for a good long while but when I do I'll be sure to holler . |

I play Guild Wars. Ive been playing since the first beta, and am very knowledgeable about the game (I used to have all the details of all 1,100+ skills memorized). I dont play as much anymore, and as such do not have Eye of the North (latest expansion) but have the rest.
I have a fully outfitted level 20 of each class, and would be very willing to play with any aspies who want to group with me. I used to run a Guild Wars guild, Refuge From Exile [RFE] but I am no longer affiliated with them (at one point I was trying to stop playing, and stepped down).
We could make our own aspie friendly guild
EDIT: In-game name is "Righteous Theory". Sometimes a friend of mine plays on my account... so just be warned it might not be me who answers! |
