Hi,
Not sure how this is supposed to go, but i'll give it a shot.
I am a female with suspected Aspergers Syndrome ( to scared of the tests)
I also have a boyfriend that has been diagnosed with Aspergers.
I never realised untill i met him that there were other people out there that are like me, So i thought i would try and get in touch with some of you!

Welcome! Yes, it's wonderful to finally find there's a place for you. You were really lucky to find an aspie twin soul too. Do you want to say a little more about yourself? (mention some of your interests, for example)
By the way, why are you "scared of the tests"? If you want, you can just take an online personality test and no one else will know your results (if that's what you find scary). |

Heya everyone! Thanx for the replies!
Ok, now to answer some of your questions.
My interests are anything practical, i love cars and motorbikes, i could change the oil and the tyers by the time i was 4, I have had a life long project of rebuilding my house! its still on going! Was a project for me and my dad but he passed away last year. I have obsessions for anyhting that moves, i bought my first car at 7 ( saved up doing a paper round). Also flying, i started doing Gliding lessons at the age 9 and had my pilots licence at 11, and bought my first glider (jointly) at 14, it was a T21, they used to train raf pilots in them for the war!
The reason it took my so long to find this website was because i didnt know anything about Aspergers untill i met my boyfriend, and then dicovered that there was a reason i felt like a freak all my life! It was so comferting!
I have done online tests for Aspergers, there was one that i did and i got 178 out of 186....so yeah its pretty certain. I just get too nervous sitting infront of people when they are asking me questions, maybe i will go and get the test done profesionally one day!
