Dear all,

If you took the Emotional IQ test I posted a couple days ago on another running thread, please note that the free of charge score is only the result for how well YOU think you do socially. If you got a low score, it doesn't mean you did badly at the test. Please see seashell's comments on that thread:

Thanks. That's good to know because I got 55 on that but I'd been thinking I'd done quite a bit better really.

I doubt the paid report is worth the paper its printed on. Anyway another test has been posted before on E-IQ:

Greentea's test contains 106 questions. It seems that the test on Discovery Health is a heavily simplified version.

Huh.
Maybe I'll retake the test and buy the full report then.

I wonder how much it costs to download the full report?

I feel responsible for posting the test, and I know many are disappointed in their results, so I'll keep bumping this notice for a couple days.

The full report is $6.95 to download.
Hooray for credit cards and gainful employment.

Hmmm.
It wasn't really worth it.

IQ score = 95
Percentile score = 37

Your overall score on this assessment was slightly lower than average, indicating that both your self-report and ability scores were likely somewhat below average. You appear to have some difficulty recognizing the emotions of others, managing your own feelings and knowing how best to approach others in an empathetic manner. On a positive note, you are aware of your limitations. Awareness is key to helping you find the motivation to improve in this area, and knowing which areas you most need to work on improving.
