Anyone see Guy Pearce as an Apsie ? I saw an interview of him the other day and his mannerisms struck me as an Aspie.

Don't know - an interesting thought though.

I haven't seen him an interview, but I'll watch out for him.

Many Aspies become actors - so entirely possible.

He used to be in Neighbours.
Memento is a great film he was in that. ( Also, the latest remake of Count Of Monte Cristo and LA Confidnetial i think).

Just the way Tom Cruise was acting around the time he was supposed to be promoting "M:I-3" was very Aspie of him.

Remember the couch jumping/surfing on Oprah?

Yeah, I just assumed the whole Scientology thing had gotten to him though.

That's Guy Ritchie, director of films "Snatch" & "Lock, Stock, and 2 Smoking Barrels"-he's married to Madonna.
Saw Guy Pearce in "Ravenous" (first I'd heard of him) & later I watched part of "L.A. Confidential"-didn't recognize him in it, only noticed he seemed familiar.
Haven't seen interviews w/him, though. Am incapable of guessing dx's for other people, can only notice whether someone seems emotionally uncomfortable/"ill at ease" being interviewed.

I have to disagree with some of the people mentioned. Tom Cruise is NOT Aspie. He's a nutter. Nicole Kidman just seems to have social anxiety to me. I don't know about Guy Pearce because I don't know much about him.

I do think that being a director is an Aspie kind of job though.
