As the other topic suggested, I wanted to know if other AS sufferers are registered to any services who try to help them find work?
Im with a local job-finding project, specifically for AS, called ASpire. With the project running through the local council, they try and use their influence and contacts to try and sniff out work opportunities. However, Ive been with this project for 2 years and they have not found me any work opportunities.
I am also with another service called Momentum - who work purely on short-term work placements (unpaid). The idea is a candidate goes in, gets work experience, then boosts their CV. Im due to start another work placement with this service in the next 3 weeks within the Police Force. |

For those who have not picked up on my past postings I would like to introduce my website: www.aspergermanagement.com
The site is about having AS and working in white collar/management positions. The site builds on my book Managing With Asperger Syndrome which I wrote over three years ago now. I did so because of the lack of advice and support that I perceived existed for those with AS working insuch occupations.
I am keen to publicise the site and get people to sign and, hopefully, contribute. The more that like minded people can come together and share the better it will be for all. I am UK based but the site is very much a global one.
Any comments most welcome.
I hope to hear from people shortly.
With kind regards
