Following on from discussion on the Autistic Spectrum it was noted that although two
people might appear to be have the same 'severity' that they not necessarily the same. The current system implies that the parts or components of ASD are bolted together, which they are clearly not as they are able to vary from person to person. There are no typical component amounts for a particular point on the spectrum.

So I came up with the concept of Autistic Spectrum Components. This is a more refined version that includes a test. I would be grateful if anyone will give it a try. Like I said it is still conceptual, I spent a bit of time researching and designing the test. I would appreciate any feedback. The result is a radar plot (hopefully) showing a more multidimensional picture of where you where you are in relation to ASD, which you can post on the board.

Things to note:

# The information is not recorded at the moment. The radar plot is the result of your test score and is created on the fly.

# It does not test abilities and was never intended to. There are plenty of tests that do, but that probably doesn't even cover half of the abilities.

# It is a test in relation to the entire Autistic Spectrum and not Asperger's. It is meant to be used independent of labels such as AS, NLD, PDD-NOS, and so on.

# Reasoning and Problem solving problems (RP) - Cognitive skills related to rational deduction and working things out
# Sensory problems (S) - Impact of senses

To make it simplier for me:
RBI=6
SI=7
L=5
POC=6.5
IR=3
RP=6
S=7
M=3.5

Well I know a bit clueless with social stuff so that makes sense I'd be high there. My planning and concentration sucks so that's about right. I am hypersensitive to stuff to that's fair. I have a good visual mind and remember a lot of stuff so that right. Motor stuff I'm not too sure about since I have nothing to really compare myself to; I can do some movements quite well, others not so.

I suppose it's accurate, but I haven't taken too many tests to compare it with yet.

Seems for me most of the things are fairly mild.
I have been able to teach myself good social skills in order to blend in well.
Things like knowing when you shouldn't continue about something, small talk, and generally getting along with most people.
I do have mild problems in most areas.
However i just can't visualize people in my mind well, nor do i remember much about my childhood.
