My eyes were blue until puberty, then they changed to kind of an olive green with hazel flecks. Sometimes they look almost totally hazel, and other times they look emerald green.

Mine are weird.
The majority of the iris is blue, and the center, near the pupil, is a greenish-hazel. Different parts stand out depending on my clothing and the light intensity.
But when I cry, they turn this aqua-marine color. It sounds like I'm stretching the truth, but it's true. Seriously, if I go in the bathroom to wash my face with cold water (which, by the way, is a good way to calm down) I look in the mirror and am startled by the weird color.
My friends say it is really startling too.
I think I'm an Alien... O_o |

Mine are blue, but often when I look in the mirror I see green. My eyes have been blueish-gray sometimes, other times blueish-green and other times almost purple.

Mine look brown from a distance.
Up close they're a hazel-green.
With alcohol in my system they're a brilliant green.

My eyes are weird. No, seriously.
They're supposed to be hazel. When they are, I call them my "Human Eyes".
But sometimes the dark edge turns dark purple. I'm not lying. I'm serious. (I call these my "Purple Eyes".)
And sometimes they turn all of the colors of the color spectrum. I know that can't be logical, but sometimes when I look at my eyes close up, they are red near the pupil going to orange then yellow then green for most of the iris, but before they reach the dark edge, they're this ghostly pale blue, and then the dark edge is a dark purple. I call these "My Eyes". Because I like them better than my "Human Eyes".
No, I have not gone to a doctor for that.
I'm just soooo normal. *sarcasm*

My eyes are hazel.
As far as this matter about eyes changing color, I've learned that it doesn't actually happen and is just a result of light reflected off of clothing.
I'm beginning to doubt this teaching though. |
