shakespeare's difficult for many people - they're not necessarily morons. not everyone is good at everything. |
Mostly they were morons because when the teacher was trying to explain it, they wouldn't stop talking and didn't pay attention. I don't really have a problem with kids who want to learn but don't understand it; it's the ones that distract the whole class by screwing around and then make the teacher repeat everything that was just said because they weren't paying attention. _________________ Itaque incipet.

When I was in sixth grade, our class got punished for being loud at lunch, even though I didn't notice any difference. Anyway, instead of copying a very, very, very, very, long paragraph 50 times, I pretended I was sick the next day. I doubt I would've done them even if the teacher had gone to my house, threatening to fail me. But, they were nice, and they knew that I never spoke a word during lunch. (First through sixth grade during lunch--no one I tell ever believes it for some silly reason.)
I feel like an emoticon would fit very nicely at the end, but I'm not sure which one...oh, well. I'll be a little random today. _________________ "Public transportation is for jerks and lesbians." --Homer Simpson

Wanna hear a fun horror story? I forget whether this was kindergarten or first grade, but I was in a private Christian school (which I was expelled from in first grade, by the way) and our teacher was punishing the entire class for something, I have no idea what. At any rate, we had to line up outside the playgournd aroudn the fence- and I stood in a ANTHILL without reralizing it!!! I didn't know what was wrong at first, why my legs felt these little pricks all over them, then I realized that ants were all over me! ((Not red ants, black ones- but believe me, black ants do still bite!) My mom was going to a college whose campus was right next door (same institution) and somehow she came and helped me; the next thing I remember is being in the bathroom and discovering they were EVERYWHERE from the waist down. GAAAH!!!
This was not, by the way, the start of my insect-and-arachniphobia. But it sure as heck reinforced it. |
