Is it okay with you all if I join in here a bit?
I'm a genetic male who's been going through all this gender identity/dysphoria stuff for several years now.
I belong to a local group with transwomen, transmen, and those of us sort of in-between.

I'll check back and I'll understand if someone would rather I not come back here Wink

I have a friend (and landlord) who's a Transman... sorta?
He has been taking T for a couple of years now and shows some facial hair, body changes (mostly noticed by himself), and is feeling better personally since doing so.
Problem is he still gets ma'am'd sometimes.

Somedays it really bugs him, other times he brushes it off saying he's just stuck in the middle somewhere.
That's how I feel often... stuck in the middle.
There's things I like about my guy self/body, but I definitely have this gnawing need to seek physical changes with my body... only two.
And I have never really wanted to be completely a woman. I have tried to imagine what I would be like doing so, but it seems far to alien to be able to imagine it.

I really wish our culture, our world, could accept us middle people as normal and worthy of respect like everyone else.

I enjoy reading everyone's posts about this.
I really doubt I will ever find a woman who can accept me as I am in the context of an intimate, loving relationship.
I don't know what will come of any relationship I have from now on... all the other's have failed.

But... I'm not here to dwell on that. Very Happy

Wow, I'm NOT a freak.

For a year or two in middle school, I dressed like a boy. There has never been any question as to whether I identify as a woman, but I gravitate towards traditionally-male interests and activities, and when operating purely in the context of my own mind, I feel as though my gender is ambiguous or irrelevant-- I am certainly a woman but I'm not sure about the little voice in my head.

Many cultures outside of Western cultures have recognized a 'third' gender.
Not that they all treated the 'third gender' persons well all the time... but they did recognize there was something else besides just plain old male and female.

There's stories about women who went into battle as men even during the Civil War of the United States.

Think how much more relaxed (and fun) many people could be if we didn't cling to this notion of a bi-gender world Very Happy

I don't know if I'm a lesbian or a transguy.

If you aren't sure you are a transguy, maybe you are a genderqueer who just likes females.

hello well as i have said a couple of times on this site i tell people that i am the greatest drag queen ever because i got a female body, i would techniqually be termed a lesbian but get mistaken for a male all the time, as i have very high testosterone levels naturally i have to shave every day , i think of myself as a guy in almost a womens body and have thought about surgery in the past but have now decided that it would be stupid to go through so much pain, so now i am just me whatever that is lmao, madz

Lucky, i identify as being male, but typically produce zero testosterone, and as a result of that, have huge breasts.

The only reason I shave is because no hair grows on the back of my legs so it looks pretty weird if I don't. Otherwise I'd let them get as hairy as any other guy.

I don't see a point in the FTM surgery though, mainly because its pretty pointless aside from breast removal. You get better results sticking a packy in your pants than you do getting the bottom surgery.

hello

i did not explain where i shaved daily did i lol, i have male pattern hair i have to shave my face daily that is or else i would grow a full beard, which i have contemplated, i have even been asked for my birth certificate to prove i was not an mtf , i have been thrown out of ladies toilets and mens toilets in fact it can be a pain going out because i never know if i will be allowed to use a public toilet and that is without the social phobia of actually getting there and coping with the people ,as for breasts, i have small ones but they can easily be disguised if i want to just by wearing a tight sports bra, i agree about the bottom surgery there is no way i want something i have to pump up with air or anything like that, as for how hairy i let my legs get try gorrilla lol, and my chest, and back and belly and my lower arms lmao, i am just yor regular hairy gorrilla guy shame about the bit in between the legs lol somehow i think that i am more intersex than either male or female, but i do have an almost female body so i suppose i have to be female, actually i never really know what i am, i just am me lol

madz
