I love to feel the texture of kittys' soft warm fur. That's why I love to hug them so much. Kiss them, too. Especially kiss them. Horses, too. Not dogs so much.
Though I love to feel things with my lips, like I said about kissing my cat and all that, yet I hate to be touching people. Really odd. Even if their hair is soft, I cringe. |

My parents bought a new mat for the back door, and it is one of the most wonderful things I've ever stepped on. It has a really bristly, pokey texture but it's not painful. I kept walking outside to just step back and forth on it, so this afternoon I went to the store and bought another one to put by my desk. Now I can put my feet on it while I go online.
Er...Ode to the Prickly Mat aside, other sensations I like are cello music, shoulder massages, holding my own wrists, tapping my hands on things, brisk weather, the smell of vanilla, anything with peanut butter, rich jewel colors, words with consonants like K and D, numbers with nice color combinations like 638, clutterlessness, washing my hands, brushing my teeth, my cat's fur, color combinations with plenty of contrast, straight, clean lines, symmetry, lying beneath a pile of blankets, holding things with edges (not sharp things, I mean like pressing my hands on the edge of my desk), bass guitar, putting the back of my hand on top of my head, hot showers, putting a warm wet washcloth on my hands, crunchy food, fiddling with dry beans or rice, combing my hair.
I think that's everything, pretty much. That was a very long sentence. |

I also love thunder storms. We don't have them here often. But I love the sound of the thunder, the wind blowing, the water falling. I love to go to the window, or outside, and see the water. And I love the scent of the wet earth and wet plants. Afterwards, as well.
Anyone else here like the scent of water. I know it doesn't really have a scent, but...more like the scent of the humidity? |

Soft plush animals
petting a dog's head...seems it's much softer than the rest of it's fur.
kissing doggy noses, especially if they are warm and dry and not cold and wet.
being around dogs in general...mostly only bigger dogs tho as small ones are just grouchy. They keep my mood happy.
being at the beach with the smelly salt water and the sandy wind. Very relaxing.
i love those squishy balls with the small foam balls inside. I can't seem to put that thing down! And it's not even mine. It's my son's lol!
love to dangle my feet, like when sitting on a swing or a bar stool.
cotton pj pants or a very soft blanket just after shaving my legs. I don't know why, but it feels so cool, it sticks to my legs.
firewood burning
gas at the gas station |

Having the wind tug at my clothes and my hair and promising me we will fly away soon
Looking at the sky (but I have to half-close my eyes)
Soft-flowing water and the ocean
Rubbing my feet, legs or hands on bedsheets of terrycloth
Cat fur |

| Taking off in planes, cello music live, the closer you are to the cello the better. My son plays one and at times especially when the music is sad I have to close my eyes to stop myself from crying. Well particular notes in any music or song make my throat go tight like you are going to cry and often I do cry. The feeling you get just before you drop off to sleep. Also when you wake up and realise you can go back to sleep again. babies skin. swimming fast with the water rushing past you. The feel of the surface of dolphins. It's kind of like a moist warm hard boiled egg that kind of ripples under your hand. The fur on a dogs or horses nose. Showers baths spas. Scratchy towels. |

I love squeezing marsh mallows before I eat them. I also like to rub my feet against my bed before I sleep. When facing in front of an electric fan while saying "Luke, I am your father". _________________ http://behaviortrackerpro.com |

| I love lacing up super-tight corsets. Almost down to 19 inches! I love strong hugs (the kind with both arms). I love when my cats curl up against me underneath the covers. I like the feeling of cool mud gooshing up between my toes. The feeling of sea water running over sand I'm standing in is great, too. I love leaning my head back into warm water so I can be deaf for a few seconds. And I love the sound of thunder overhead; it makes me feel small. |

-Taking showers.
-The feeling of headphones pressed against my ears.
-Pressure, particuarly when it's applied to the chest.
-Pillows and blankets. I can't stand to be on a bed, or even a couch without loads of them.
-The crunch of potato chips.
-The low hum of a computer or ceiling fan. Except when I'm trying to get to sleep.
-The feeling of tree bark. Sap ruins it though.
-The look and feel of new electronics.
-The feling of tape wrapped around my finger(s).
-Peeling the security devices off of DVD cases.
-And as strange as it may seem, I love wriggling my toes on carpeted floors, as well as wearing shoes. Sometimes I wear them around the house even when I know I'm not about to go anywhere. _________________ "Wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world?" |
