When I get frustrated, i start pacing, i might even handflap with my hands tightly closed in a fist, i start stuttering, cant find any verbal way of communicating, i start breathing hard, and finally i start attacking myself, i hit myself a lot, with my fists, headbang, throw myself on the ground...its horrible Embarassed ! What does everybody else do when they get frustrated? How does everybody else handle it?

When I get stressed out or frustrated, I do breathing exercises to calm myself. Sometimes, I "count" as counting can be calming
as well for me.

I lock myself in my room and sleep the hours away.

I wish I could do that everytime. I want to sleep right now...

However, when I get frusterated I am mostly in public so I hyper focus on something to just get through everything.

Rock back and forth while scratching my face, or sleep it off (if I can)

Sleep if at all possible. Gnash teeth. Chew on insides of mouth. Drive around aimlessly and scream in my car.

Try and just relax and do something else to get my mind straight. I feel like punching or kicking the wall though, or an actual person...

I often scream when I get frustrated, and it's embarrassing. I sometimes make other pained noises, too. I sometimes do the things mentioned here--pacing, rocking, flapping, hitting myself (usually not that hard). Or I behave violently towards people or inanimate objects. It can be quite embarrassing, and I've tried to work on it.

I'm I'm really frustrated, I might give my head a couple good whacks.

Whether or not that happens, I'm most likely to "shut down" and just vegetate on the computer, TV, or bed. Ignoring the problems causing the stress and somehow hoping they'll go away.

I know it doesn't work and I'm fighting that bad habit, but that seems to be the "default" for me, and it's REALLY tough to get working when everything inside you is saying, "I can't deal with this, I'm so tired!!"
(Like the house I'm supposed to be packing into boxes, the new job/education I need to be getting, the new hope I need to find, the rent I can't afford.... augh.)

I start yelling or crying uncontrollably and start banging tables, desks, or counter-tops.

It varies for me because it depends on what is causing the frustration. If I'm responsible for it I'll rectify it as best I can while abusing the crap out of myself - I'm my own worst critic!

If it's someone else, it depends on who it is and why. I need an answer to "why" before I'll react and that also depends on the answer's content.

Usually if I'm angry I'll shut the door to my "study". That way I'm on my own so I can think, and sort out how to resolve the situation.

Sleep isn't an option for me!

As if on cue, I just got a call from my wife... I now need to spend every cent I have on a new pair of glasses for her.

Unemployed, looking for home, looking for job, looking for school, separated from family, excluded by inlaws, packing home before the end of the month - and now my last bit of money is being sapped away.

This day is over.... I'm heading for the tub.

If im really fustrated i walk in circles.

yesterday i was playing a Xbox360 game and was not winning and getting raelly fustrated and my brother came in the room and asked me why i was making the kazoo sound at midnight. didnt even notice i was doing it.
