after some improvement in the resolution of my appraisal, i realized that what i heard as his "rare and delusive personality" must have really been words that said "rare and elusive personality".
i realized that when i realized that "delusive" is not a word. it should be "delusional". |

i had to go to the office for a little while today and some woman said to me "well it's less than 8 weeks away from crispness".
i did not understand. i wondered whether she had bought some bogus pyramid shaped device that would make her saggy vegetables crisp again. then i wondered if she was hazy of mind and she was on some medication she has just commenced that would take 8 weeks to return her sensorium to a state of "crispness".
as i was pulling into my driveway apon returning home, i realised she must have said it was less than "8 weeks to christmas".
she will never know i finally got it and she will remain thinking i am an idiot.
she should pronounce her words better to people like me who are hard to get through to. |
