Why the hell do i get banned from general chat for stating a belief that is non offensive? The mods are really liberal with the ban hammer and its sickening.
I can't joke around about something and then kicked out because its taken out of context, that is seriously f****. I told wiretap that i have a conduct disorder and i get kicked because of it... bullshit. I said something and it offended somebody and i apologized, i have had no warnings but wiretap says i had have nine in the last 48 hours *bullshit* i have been in chat for maybe 4 hours in the last 2 days. I never saw any warnings untill tonight.
I seriously think we should find some new mods at this point because im sure im not the only person to be banned over his/her beliefs if they dont adhere to the popular thought in general chat. I have a conduct disorder but im not starting fights and im not calling people offensive names, i have this disorder completely under wraps... I just don't like being told what i can say and can not say and if i am being harassed about it when several people in the chat room agree completely with what i was saying as being a joke and not serious then i am going to get pissed and argue but in a adult manner.
If you can't handle a discussion in chat then maybe you should leave instead of perma banning people.

The weird thing is... none of us mods know anything about who is modding the chat.  We don't even go in it.

sorry... whoever is in direct control now is being an ass... and banned me for a petty disagreement.

Is a mod always on? Do they have usernames?
I want to know more about how the chat is run.... so I'm figuring I might have to use it.

Well Gwen the problem is i was banned so i don't know if a mod is on currently but i know that Wiretap banned me... not that it makes a difference unless you know who Wiretap is.

Oh, I didn't mean right this second... I was just curious if there was always a mod present in the whole 4 hours that you used it.

The chat is not moderated very well at all. It's supposed to contain family friendly topics.
Yeah right.
Most of the ops never come on when I'm on, and Mortomes is the most active one lately. He's not very family friendly, though. |
