So it's the end of the year, and a lot has changed... at the beginning of the year, one of our roommates was the "problem" roommate and the three of us would bitch and complain about her. Now she has joined up with the other two and they bitch and complain about me, or so I suspect! They all have this stupid f***ing clique and it gets awkward if I have to enter the room for ANYTHING. I'm the nice one, the cleanest, I don't mind being there for any of them. They're just bitchy because I don't have their nasty sense of humor (they call each other "whore" and "slut" and think it's funny), and they just act rude and if I confront them about anything they won't be honest with me, they'll try to sugarcoat it.
This REALLY bothers me. I don't care much that they dislike me, but the fact that they're being dishonest about it is really rude.
Whatever, it's the end of the year, and they're all moving out this week, while I get to stay till next week!
I just needed to complain and get it out of my system. It's certainly the perfect time for everything to blow over, right? Now, do you guys think I should confront them or leave it alone? |

| Meh, just leave it alone. Anyone dumb enough to think calling someone else a whore is funny is also dumb enough to have no comrehension of the words you are saying. Be happy they are gone, and have a party for one! |

Been there, done that. This is why marriages consist of two people, and not three or more. The dynamics of 3 people are different, and perhaps worse than if it's just two, or 4 or more as in your case. But three is an especially bad number. You'll come out a loser if you place yourself in that position again, so avoid it in the future.

Gawds yes. I'd agree with the others that you should just leave it alone.
We've had a few bad roommates before, namely two, my #2brother and his alcoholic friend who now hate each other. They're both slobs, my brother throwing his clothes and paints and stuff all over never cleaning and always stealing my clean clothes, and his "friend" leaving empty beer cans everywhere and his clothes all over and also not cleaning at all.
Now we've got noisy neighbors. Oh the joys of humanity.

Yeah, I'm getting space from them, maybe that will help things. A few of them are moving out in two days, so it really won't be an issue at all. They can be friends with each other. It just bothers me that they have to be so nasty when all I've done is be nice to them!
Next year will be much better. Again I'm living with three other girls, but I won't be sharing a bedroom with any of them, and they're all very relaxed. My current roommates get very angry over stupid things. I'm excited for next year, so it should be good! |

I've seen that problem, when women room together. It's almost as if they have to conform to whomever is exhibiting the strongest emotions. So, if female A has a problem with you, and females B and C don't, they'll just pretend to, just to keep the status quo. I'm glad that you're situation is changing for the better.
