Well, I'm glad we can help entertain you.

I find this sort of activity inherently more enjoyable than, say, reading a book. I prefer interaction of any kind with other people.

Thank you! Very Happy I really do try, but it can be hard sometimes.

I find the act of writing something a bit "subversive" in itself enjoyable. I have noticed some negative responses, particularly from you and a few others, though. I have noticed some people enjoy reading at least some of the posts I make. I can't say every post I make is informative and entertaining or profound. But that's life.

I am just not gonna even answer that one. You really live in a fantasy world. And you're the rosiest of all!

You really need to see the world through absurdist, ironic lenses. Everything can be viewed on a continuum from reasonableness to the absurdity that lies when the principle is taken to its logical extreme. Every social more conflicts with another, somewhere, sometime. Nothing is too sacred to be above parody. Everything everyone does makes no sense in the great scheme of things. Every conversation is banal, trivial. Even our most respected intellectuals engage themselves in pettiness: The equation is no mighter than the the brush. Every profession likes to feel they have a stranglehold on "The Truth," as if we could even recognize it if it slapped us on the face. We build an identity out of lended parts: a touch of autism here, a bit of l'artiste there, the logician in that corner, Shakespeare aficionado over there. It all amounts to the same thing. We all live; we all breathe; someday we all die. If you make a life of great accomplishments, you'll be in the same position as the lazy slob when all is said and done.

Here now, we are adrift of all meaning. Everything is the same. Jadedness prevails. There lies a sense of irrelevancy. We are trapped in a life without pleasure, without value, with all hope a fantasy. We wish we could break all bounds and escape the unlife.

Everything can be viewed on a spectrum from "I really like you" to "You're annoying as hell".

This is a community, Neant, with actual people. Not a plaything for your entertainment.

And I bet you're actually having a fun time with me getting angry at you, aren't you? I bet you're actually enjoying it.

No, I'm experiencing no emotion. I am only stating the reasons.

Truly, have you ever considered that some of the things you do can be annoying to others? I'm not saying this as a lame comeback. I'm saying it because, honestly, some of the things you've said or done make you kind of hard for anyone (I would imagine) to get along with.

can we calm it down, please, people.

whilst there is no problem with expressing a difference of opinion, this sort of personal discussion might be better off by PM, okay?

I don't like it when adults are told what they "need" to do, but that's another issue entirely.

While we are on the subject of being "told what we need to do", just last week I was talking to a lady who told me I needed to "ditch my angst". Well, let me say that if it were that easy, I would have done it long ago.

And anyway, she causes a certain amount of angst to me by butting into my conversations with other people. I'm not angsty all the time and want to have fun (not "bad" fun) sometimes without everything being so serious.

This butting in business has been the bane of my life for nearly 12 months and I don't want to get into a big fight about it but the way things are going, maybe it will go down that road.

Hmmm... Well I don't get along with you. Have you ever seen me with anyone else (other than Donny or Lauren, who can be exasperating people themselves)???

I know I am annoying as hell to live with. But people are always quite friendly to me. I usually do not pursue relationships any further though.

The short of it is, you know very little about me and the times we have met I have been in a sour mood mainly because of you, or Donny, or everyone together acting like I-won't-even-go-there. You have not had the occasion to see me in a good mood for those reasons. Thus, your opinion of me is accurate as far as when I am pissed off. But mostly I am not like that and thus your opinion is not accurate of me as a whole.

It is only accurate when I am with you.

Not to mention you display just about every one of my pet peeves (except I don't think you are a Conservative Republican) and so my patience with you is limited. And too often on these "outings" have I felt like I've been babysitting a 10-year-old kid.
