I do, I am decent at it, but not great. I have not played in a while, though. _________________ I'm not like other people. I can't stand pain, it hurts me!

I can play it...but not very well. I almost always lose, but I don't care. _________________ The hero is no braver than the ordinary man, but he is brave five minutes longer

I haven't played Chess in the longest time...but always loved it. It's a skill I would love to master, but alas, no one to play it with. _________________ omgz I r banned. |

I know how to play it, and would probably be OK at it if I were able to concentrate on it - I just find it somewhat boring and hence become easily distracted. I'll probably get flamed for this, but I'm with Poe's Dupin that it is simpler games that really are more about intelligence, rather than 'the elaborate frivolity of chess,' which is more about focus and concentration.
I also have a problem that the serious chess players, the people at chess clubs and so on, are massively better players than I am and hence I always loose, and people that just know the rules but never play are usually worse than I am, and it's boring to always loose or always win. That's a good thing about dominoes, because it involves both chance and strategy, it's not the same winner all the time.
Last time I played chess was against a computer on a transatlantic flight. _________________ I neither take revenge, nor beg for favours. (Rabindranath Tagore)
