| Hi all. I'm considering getting an official diagnosis but I'm wondering if anyone knows the requirements under UK employment law about whether or not I will have to disclose this on job applications. I work for the NHS but in clinical areas which means I'm subject to a more thorough occupational health screening than for e.g. administrative posts. Thanks. |

I believe that you are not obliged to disclose your condition but cannot revert to legal protection afterwards if you do not.
In other words say that the company should have made adequate provision after you have joined if they did not have the opportunity to consider your situation beforehand.
