Nt's are weird their lucky not living with no social skills and I have no friends at all and when I did I belived they were on the spectrum because they weren't nt because otherwise why would they be friends with a quirky social misfit like myself. _________________ Everythings the same I am still cant sleep and still hate school. |

Well it depends, I don't think they suck...but I think some NT's should be more understanding. I mean they shouldn't treat people different if they are different. _________________ Ever since I was small, I've felt different from the others... special in some way. But not like this...

Why would anyone be stupid enough to call themselves smart, while at the same time dismissing people who don't have a neurological disorder/difference of some kind? Even you must realise how stupid that sounds. In case you weren't aware of it, there are extremely intelligent NT's (you know, if that really was the only quality that counts), who really do try to understand people with AS and other who are different than the norm.
And, though it could, having autistic traits does not automatically make you better than all neurotypical people.
To believe that NT=stupid is simply flawed logic.
I like to think that we can complement each other; that most people are good at something and if we all work together (instead of trying to fit everyone into the narrow 'circle of normal', or claim that some skills are better than others) everything will be better for everyone. Naïve? Perhaps, but it makes me feel better.
Sorry for the rant, I just had to get that out of my system...
I know I can, at times, be a bit (read: extremely) elitist myself, but that's not solely because of my AS.
That's just plain grandiosity. |
