Shouldn't the automobile manufacturer be held liable because they didn't make the trunk secure enough to prevent theft?

I'm one of the 20 million veterans who had our VA records compromised in that other incident. This sucks, maybe if a couple of GS 15s were flogged or shot this crap would cease!  |

Yeah, I got my letter about this also.
But it's system-wide... disciplining a few folks will not end the problem.
