Page 4-7 (esp page 5-7) there is a perfect example of neurotypical bullying on a forum. It's very close to how I've found they act in real life in terms of bullying. It's a weird forum and I'm not trying to spam it here obviously and some of it is kinda crude there but I just thought I'd share what I thought was a good example. _________________ "But in general, at first shy guys may seem interesting and cute, but it DOES get old really quick. I founf it painful even trying to read those posts...eeerrrggg. However, I didn't see the bullying you were refering to, other then a few people saying something about her nose...well, what do you expect if you post your pics on a rating site? People are supposed to be honest right? That is totally different then people I don't know making such remarks as I walk down the street.
Can you give me an example of the bullying you read? _________________ Just because one plane is flying out of formation, doesnt mean the formation is on course....R.D.Lang

Rating boards are just annoying when they are so freaking pretty and they just want to lap up compliments! _________________ "You can do the math a thousand way, but you can't undo the past"

I think the first is an example of what happens when parents do't monitor their kids internet use and kids that don't care that they are being used by pediphiles.

The above IS an example of on-line bullying and it was directed at one of our own memebers. Really makes me want to kick some bully booty. _________________ Just because one plane is flying out of formation, doesnt mean the formation is on course....R.D.Lang

Well I guess comments against me personally, on those pages. It doesn't seem really bad, but it still is kinda annoying. they claim to have been kidding though. Just comments like "oh dustin is a joke" stuff like that. It was light but still it reminds me of highschool. I agree picture rating is pretty stupid. Stupid thread I guess? _________________ "But in general, at first shy guys may seem interesting and cute, but it DOES get old really quick. Gets too boring."

Assholes that they were, they did have a point that you should go out and meet people. They could have easily given the same advice and answered your question without being so rude.
I don't believe everyone can make good friends outside family. Yeah, some with HFA and Asperger's can, but autism is a spectrum, and some will have more severe symptoms than others. |
