Last night I was kicked out of the house because we got into an argument about me not acting according to my race(I'm black but I act white...I don't understand the issue, it's just the way I am),she thinks I care more about my friends than my family because I went with my friend to the hospital because I was afraid she was miscarring and didn't get back until 8,and b/c I was out for ANY reason until 8. Then she threw my door open(later) to tell me to wash dishes but befor I could even leave my room she told me to just put on some shoes and get out of her house. So, I rode my bike to my friends house(very far away) got lost and had to call her. Turns out I wasn't lost...it was just so dark that I thought I was. I've been here since 11pm. What now? I think I may be more depressed than usual. _________________ I think I know. I don't think I know. I don't think I think I know. I don't think I think. |

I've been kicked out of the house by my Dad, Mom and Sister. Just don't hold a grudge like I did, Mom and Dad passed away before I could resolve that grudge.
And don't think your kicked out for good quite yet, as I've been kicked out more than my fair share of times . Keep your head up, it'll all pass before you know it. _________________ omgz I r banned. |

How can someone "act white"?
There are some white people i would definitely not want to emulate. _________________ Radical Aspergian

Pretty much the very moment I turned 18, life gave me a big hard kick in the ass. Parents died, girlfriend got pregnant, had to find an apartment of my own and work, work, work to support all these changes.
I miss being a dependent teenager . _________________ omgz I r banned. |

Given the boot topic
Blackcat, you need to tell someone what happened. You are too young to be out on your own. Young people, especially women, especially visible minorities, are vulnerable to various predators. And if you are anywhere on the Spectrum, then you are very vulnerable to abuse. Please find shelter and people (adults) you can trust right away. _________________ Radical Aspergian

A friend of mine has been kicked out of the house, a lot of things went wrong; but some things good. Here are some observations from that process:
- Try not to stay emotional, you could postpone it until the first steps are taken
- Find someone who is respected both by you and your parents; it could be a family member, a good friend, someone from your church or someone from a youth group. Whatever!
This person can be an intermediary or someone who can shuttle messages and posessions
- Try to get a place to sleep, not a couch, but a room for your own
- Change your habits to your new house, that way they let you stay longer
- I do not know the social system in the US well enough, but maybe you could contact the government for support money
And if you are not responsible enough, try to find someone who keeps you on the straight path! |

If you need anything, let me know, I have a friend who used to run an organization (that we're thinking of re-incorporating, we just need to form the board again) that gave aid to autistic people in trouble like this. She might still have some resources and contacts to help, and she said she'd do whatever she could. She's been homeless and starving, and doesn't want to see any other autistic people forced into that situation if she can help it. So if staying with friends or whatever falls through, and your parents won't let you back, PM me and I'll try to put you in contact with her. _________________ "We may seem in the gutter from up there where you are but maybe you don't know we still see the same stars." -Donna Williams |

Not comparable. There's no harm perpetrated on an innocent party by smoking marijuana. Laws are also a guideline for expected behavior. |
