Does anyone here play it?

For those who arn't familiar with it, World in Conflict is a fairly new, RTS. The games commonly involve 4-8 players on each team. Each player chooses one of four military roles (Air, Armour, Infantry and Support). It involves alot of teamwork and strategy; for example, if you are controlling heavy tanks (Armour), you need another player to be Support or Air to make sure that the enemy's heavy attack helicopters can't rain anti-tank missiles from the air. And unlike other online RTS games, you can just join right in the middle of a game, so there's no tedious preparation to get all the players there before the match. Though it cna get quite tedious when all your units are destoryed because the relivant team mate wasn't there to help your, or the opponent just drops an airstrike on you.

I normally like to use repair and anti-air vehicles in the Support role, as I find it fun yet challenging to get the repairs done while under fire, and watching the opponent's attack helicopters hastily fly away as my mobile anti-air approaches. Smile

I've seen it...interesting and the art cover is nice showing the damaged Statue of Liberty, US soldiers evacuating some people, etc.

very symbolic.
