The girl that I thought I liked is a snot, to say the least. Has any other guys here run into that?

| Yeah. I also do not "Get" the dating games they play at all. The whole 'wait a few days before you call', 'don't appear too desperate or too distant' seems completely arbitrary and incomprehensible to me. There was a girl i was "dating" so to speak, who would always bug me about hanging out. When I'd call her to do something she'd always have an excuse. I got sick of it and told her "that's it! I'm sick of this". I am completely clueless as to whether I should've just kept playing along or she had been sending me signals and really just wanted to get rid of me or if she was testing me or something. I always start out by saying I'm completely honest and don't like games but they always seem to play them anyway. Life could be so much easier. Maybe i just need to date an Aspie girl? |

| Yes. I went to a pretty "preppy" university where there is a lot of that. It's an act that they put on, that they are more valuable than others by some birth right. The guys who date these women are those who play the game: be forward but don't put on that you are, be entirely self-conscious but pretend that you're being entirely authentic. These people are neurotic. Don't worry, they aren't too prevalent. There are real people out there. Just don't judge a book by its cover. |

it depends...I found I was a 'creep' to a lot of women, back in the day.. Radiohead would have been my anthem, if they'd started 20 years earlier...
Women are all over the map, some are snots to everyone, some are more particular about who they disfavor... |

I admit I can be quite snotty, especially if I sense that a guy is patronizing me. So if you're an Aspie guy, and you are awkward in your communication, you may be more likely to be misunderstood in this sense.
But yeah, obviously if someone treats you like this, they are not worth it.

As a girl, I can't stand some of the snotty girls at my job. I don't understand how if they think they're over everyone else, they have to put on a crappy act. What I really hate is that my manager and some of the co-workers who are guys think they're the bomb. Yet these girls don't get anything done. They chat too much and we found out 2 of them tested positive for meth but this went by word. The rest of us are always having to take after their crap. They hang in a clique in case you haven't noticed in my typing. They're so dependant on eachother, it sooooo pathetic. OK, I think I'm starting to sound like one of them already so I'll stop there.
