Eligible Odd-Bods! - The Premier Aspergian Singles List
I’m a bit embarrassed to be posting something so personal, but I haven’t really had a lot of luck in this area so…I’m looking for a guy near NYC anywhere from 20-30 years of age interested in a serious relationship. I’m almost 5’7, have brown eyes and hair with some red mixed in, and carry some extra weight around by hips. I’ll be 23 this summer and am currently studying my interest at a university. I love going to museums and losing myself for hours in them, but I do like to do other things that do not involve immersing myself in knowledge (I randomly like the action of fast-paced sports for example.) I have a large, traditional family and two adorable cats back home. I enjoy anime, music, video games, winter holidays, biomedical research, and relaxing with people I can trust. The big thing for me has nothing to do with a guy’s looks or cultural background: it’s that he has to be passionate about something. Whether that passion is in trains or quantum mechanics, subject doesn’t matter. I’ve found that I have a lot of trouble connecting with people that don’t have a special interest or goal in life, and once I make that connection, I try hard to maintain it. So even if someone just wants to be friends, I want to be good friends, since I have a hard time understanding the social rules of casual ‘see you once every few years’ relationships.
Whew…so that was more than I’d thought I’d write. If anyone is interested or just wants to be friends, feel free to PM me!
*sigh* Still single!

P.S. Does anyone else find this dating website is very buggy?
Hi, I'm new here and i'm hoping to find a partner to get close with and share some of or all of my life with. Perhaps also some new friends at least too.
I recently discovered I have aspergers from reading about peoples experiences on this site. Although i am undiagnosed I feel fairly certain its the reason why I have always felt different to everyone else and outside of the norm. I've never really understood what your supposed to do in social circumstance and have generally had to fumble my way about. Because I have become fairly good at appearing NT and find it okay to deal with life general (I have a job and have a social circle) I think most people don't see me as any different and so when meeting someone new, I never know how to start the initial interraction and if what i am doing is correct (or something!), I probably come off as not interested so never get anywhere. Once past this point i am very easy to get along with and like getting involved in lots of things and try to get the most out of life.
I'm 28 and live in Southampton in the UK. My stats are 5' 8 and I weight 10 and a half stone. I like to keep fit by running and going to the gym. I like going to pubs and enjoying meals out (would love to wine and dine someone!). I also like to keep up with my local football team and go to games occasionally with a group of friends. I have travelled to Las Vegas and New York (both great cities) and would like to try some more physical holidays like walks around the Peak District and possibly some hiking over the mountains in the Andes (doesnt mean you need to come along!).
I have interests in computers science and technology but in general I like talking about any subject really and I can be philosphical and love expanding my view and understanding of reality and what it means to exist (sorry thats deep!). I enjoy watching comedy like The Big Bang Theory and love Sci-Fi's like Battlestar Galactica (need a new Sci-fi show though!). I am fascinated about the prospects of what the futue holds for humanity and wondering if we will survive and expand into space or just blow ourselves up in a needless arguement with some nukes! I also enjoy gaming on the PC, watching films and have even recently been snowboarding!
I am looking for a girl aged 20-32 who I can talk to freely. you don't have to be very local to me as I can get about, hopefully in the Hampshire area or maybe London? Although a new long distance pen pal or two would be great too! However, that said I do greatly feel the need to touch skin and hope to find someone who is equally lonely and in need of some hugs and cuddling! I'm perfectly happy to find someone who is quiet and doesnt feel like getting out and about much. Even if it means only meeting up once week or two weeks. For me the two things I feel I need to happy in life is unrestricted conversation (I can be very open and understanding once some trust is gained) and to be able to enjoy the simple pleasures of some skin contact. Something as simple as holding someone elses hand is soooooo underrated in life! I have dated a girl with AS in the past (this has lead to me to understand AS and eventually realise I had it too!) so don't feel that you could be someone who is too difficult to handle of get along with. I can be extremely patient and caring
If your curious about anything or just want to start a conversation please PM me. Trying to write about myself so honestly in a public forum is odd and I am not sure I have conveyed who I am that well!
Give me a chance and say hello
Hello, world of Aspies!
My name is Jack and I'm from Anchorage, Alaska. I am uncertain that there is really an organized Aspie community anywhere in Alaska, so I might as well the ball rolling! I am newly-diagnosed, yay!
I am 170 cm (5'-7") and 72kg (160 lbs). I sometimes receive female comments about going to the gym, though I have absolutely no idea how to respond and end up blowing it--a classic Aspie conundrum!
I can assure you my brain is cooler. I humbly cannot call myself a savant, but in the immortal words of Napoleon Dynamite, I do have some great skills.
I love to read about business, business people and run a small multilevel marketing coffee side business--so I like entrepreneurship. Did you know that Bill Gates is an Aspie? I am very highly-functioning when it comes to formal communication and business dealings, and actually give excellent presentations and have potential as a public speaker (a very admirable accomplishment!), but the minute I try to initiate something casual like to go out for drinks--game over!
My second skill is computers. The first computer I used ran DOS 4.0 back in 1990 (I was only 4 and had a *very* trustworthy mother with a Zenith laptop.) My day job involves selling and troubleshooting e-readers for a very well-known American bookstore. I run and administer both PC's and Macs on my parents' network. I have built five machines from parts in my day. Computer hardware, I can do, but all I can really program at this time is "Hello, World!"
I am a connoisseur of languages. I taught myself basic Japanese in middle school and kept on taking it through high school and college. I'm probably fairly fluent in everyday situations, but I need more practice. At my peak, I knew about 600 Chinese characters and still aspire to learn all 2,000 "daily use" characters at some point. I also took a year of French, in a pitiful attempt to meet women. C'est la vie.
My final skill is the arts. I love to draw, and I'm pretty skilled at Life Drawing, where I can draw the human figure. The arts community in Anchorage is awesome, though they like to party a bit more than I'm comfortable with. I also have perfect pitch, though I can't really read music, but I own two synthesizers and love to play around with music. I have a knack for being able to listen to a song and play it by ear by reconstructing it in my mind, sometimes even the chords.
I forgot to mention that I really like space. Everything is space is cool. I'm looking for a girl that can light up my world like an X-Class solar flare.
I have an A.A. in a university's General Program, but have enough credits to have a de facto B.S. in "everything." I dropped out of college later on.
As far as girls, someone fairly close to my age (+/- 5 years), who can enjoy some form of regular physical activity that we could share interests in -- I really like yoga/pilates and swimming, but other activities like sports and the outdoors are good, too. Like many Aspies, I have a sensory sensitivity, but mine is smell--so be careful with the perfumes, but I love cuddling and physical contact.
I'm aware that I am in Alaska and am likely many thousands of kilometers from most of the active Aspie community, but I'm very hopeful. I'd be happy to correspond, Skype, etc. I do have a thing for Seattle and am hoping to move there someday.
Hi, I'm Sarah. I'm a 22 year old Asperger female from Arkansas. I'm looking for a single, male Asperger in the Arkansas or Missouri area about 20-25 years old. I'm looking for someone who is understanding and I hope I can be understanding for them. I'm hoping I can find someone a little more like me here, since I have had some pretty rotten experiences with NTs so far. I was diagnosed when I was twelve. When I was younger I was bullied a lot.
I find it a little difficult to talk about myself, sorry. I'm usually shy and quiet, though I love to talk once I get to know someone. I'm short, about 5' tall and have brown hair and green eyes. I'm a senior in college right now with a major in English and Writing.
I like to read and write short stories and novels. I spend a lot of time in the bookstore or the library. I like to read a lot of the classics, as well as sci-fi and fantasy. I'm interested in a lot of books about languages and other peoples' experiences.
I enjoy genealogy and intend to go into that full time after I graduate. I've always wanted to travel to some of the places where my ancestors lived. I hope to be a professional genealogist soon.
I love to camp and be outdoors. I've been a Scout for most of my life and am now an adult leader in Scouting. Arkansas has many great parks and opportunities for Scouts ^.^
I love to watch movies. My favorite TV shows are Dr. WHO, Criminal Minds, and Big Bang Theory. My favorite character is Dr. Reid. I find The Big Bang Theory always makes me laugh. I've always wanted a Tardis, too, I could go back and fix some of my social blunders.
This is probably futile considering how few people there likely are in the area but I'll give it a go! Here's the text from my introduction thread:
I'm generally a quiet person, but I'm not a small person. In public I'm reserved but in private I'm a bit of a monster (but in a nice way, I promise). I love animals and hugs. I also like video games and have a soft spot for JRPG's despite recognising that they're basically terrible. My favourite TV shows are generally British comedies by the likes of Armando Iannuchi and Chris Morris - in particular I love I'm Alan Partridge and Brass Eye.
If you're female and live in the north-west of England I'd love to hear from you! I know most (if not all) of you are going to be a little nervous about contacting me, but I don't mind if you don't have anything to say. Just drop me a quick "hi" and I'll try to get a conversation rolling, okay?

(PS. here's a picture I posted in another thread, so that you have an idea what I look like http://i.imgur.com/I8O3v.jpg also my avatar but that's kinda tiny and stuff)
Given the fact that dating sites haven't really helped me. Here I go!
I've had Asperger's most of my life. When I was a kid, I read things like "Stone Age Present" and Stephen Hawking's "Universe in a Nutshell", and was in the region's 5th grade Astronomy Oylmpiad, where, if I remember correctly, my school placed 3rd.
I'm 20 and live in Northern Viriginia, and my stats are 5'6" and 140lb. I'm pretty pale, a bit chubby, and have short, red hair, although I love wearing wigs and such. I'm still learning to drive, but I feel like I'm pretty close. Some of my favorite hangouts are Kingstowne, Fair Oaks Mall, and a Starbucks near my house. (I actually have a special order I get there every time - A half steamed apple juice, half steamed lemonade with raspberry syrup - we're still trying to come up with a name for it!)
I love anime, The Big Bang Theory, fashion, cartoons, reading books, stand up, music, lanuguages, cosplay, sociology, art, art history, and a lot of other stuff. I'm sure we can find something to talk about.
I am looking for a sweet, loving, guy who's in the Northern Virginia and is willing to meet up with me in a close location, I'm partial to guys with long hair, shaggy hair, or medium-shortish hair. I like holding hands and snuggling, and playing N64 video games co-op with someone. I really like playing Monopoly and Trivial Pursuit.
Let me know if you're interested!

Hey all. I'm 32 years old and I'm single and bi-sexual. I'm looking for either a male or female to get to know and possibly have a relationship with. I like to make people smile and laugh. I like to laugh, myself. I enjoy many different things, so just ask and I'll tell you all about my interests. I'm looking for a fellow Aspie who is younger than me...between the ages of 18-27. I seem to just get along better with people who are younger than me. My Facebook is linked in my profile. So, hit me up on there if interested in getting to know me better.
I am not sure what to say. I'm 32 years old, female, and Texan. I love to read. My favorites are the Harry Potter series, and The Hunger Games series. I have depression. I am very short and very chunky. I love to laugh. I dance at the supermarket. I'm goofy and my idea of a good time is a movie and Barnes and Nobles. I am looking for a guy 27-43 but I am flexable about age. If you want to know more, just send me a message.

LOOKS
Hey all, 23 year old single gay male here looking for other gay males. I'm 6.1, 180lbs, black hair, brown eyes, I'm in good shape as I workout regularly and I eat healthy. I'm looking for 18-30 and looking for someone that loves to live life to the fullest. If your a gay male in MN drop me a message and we will talk, I don't bite I also don't judge anyone for the most part. Life is too short to spend time on pointless things like that.
Hobbies/Life
I just finished my first year of college and it has been a busy year indeed. I own my own photography business that I am just getting off the ground, I help out with political campaigns of a congressman and a U.S. state representative, I design logos for organizations/companies, I have my photography in a couple art galleries and a literary magazine, I write for the local newspaper as a photojournalist, and I am involved in disability rights activism. Too much to list really, but I'm an open book so ask away if you want to know more.
I love to cook, write, take photography, drive, I love auto racing, covering journalism stories, traveling, I'm about to start a youtube video skit series, and I love just experiencing life for what it is. I'm not your average person in any way, shape, or form and I guess I have to thank my autism for that.
Outlook/Future
I have no idea where life will take me; but that's whats so fun about it. I don't plan anything too far in advance because if I did I would miss out on a lot of opportunities. Some people like to take a straight road through life and never think about going off the path. Those are the majority of people in society, they let societal standards guide them for the most part, but along the way they miss out on a lot. Life is too magical to just go down a decided path that you set years in advance; you have no idea what opportunities will come your way.
Drop me a message on here if you want to chat, date, or just get to know me more. I attached a photo of me I took 2 months ago so it's not old or anything.
