That's a good point. I see a lot of girls post in this thread, and then vanish. I just imagine their PM inbox exploding and scaring them away

Ok, guess it can't hurt to try...

Sex: Female
Age: 21
Sexuality: Bisexual, monogamous
Religion: Agnostic, but whatever
Location: Missouri, U.S.A

Appearance: 5'6", long dirty blonde hair, freckles, about average weight.

About me: I am currently in community college trying to finish my bachelors. After that I plan to go to university and get a degree in animation. I enjoy movies (mostly horror and animated films), sci-fi and fantasy, science, The Beatles, classical music, classical literature, art, and animals. For fun I enjoy either staying at home, relaxing and playing video games, or going out for an adventure. I'm not sure if I have AS or not, but does that matter? At the very least I seem to get along well with and understand people who have it.

Things I'm looking for: A man or woman 18-26, who shares some of my interests and who's ok with my sexuality. I'm ok with just about any religion so long as you are ok with me being agnostic. In decent shape. MUST like animals. I generally like clean shaven men. The more well groomed you are, the more points you get in my book. If you can cook that's a big plus (I'm a foodie). I like nerdy people.

If you are interested, comment or message me. Although I might get shy and not reply. :?

Currently located in Shakopee, MN.

24 years old. I'm queer, bisexual and non-binary.
She/her pronouns, although I also really like being called Sir.

5'3", thin, about 110 lbs, short dark hair, glasses.

I don't smoke, rarely drink, and have never so much as dabbled in any recreational drugs.

Not religious, although I wouldn't mind dating someone who is, so long as they don't attempt to convert me to their faith.

I still live with my parents, two brothers and three cats. As a matter of personal preference as well as financial and emotional necessity, I have no intention of ever living alone. I love having someone to come home to and as long as my parents like having me around this situation is ideal.

Depending upon the context of the interaction, my first impressions have been described as: cold, absurdly childish and delightful, shy, loud, blunt, clingy, quirky, silly, dorky, an unexpectedly biting wit, bad puns, dirty humor and an engaging intellect.

Seeking a companion in life. Someone who enjoys long walks, cuddles, playful teasing and thoughtful discussions.

Ideally, a long-term and monogamous arrangement, although I'm willing to make special exceptions. I'll consider long-distance with anyone that is adept enough to maintain interest via text and video chat.

Considering I've been visiting again lately, I guess I'll try my luck here again with an updated entry.

Hello, I'm Liam. I'm 5f 10/11 in, straight, 28 years old, from North Yorkshire in the UK.

I love video games, and enjoy things such as Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid, Pokemon, Chrono Trigger, Tales of, and Zelda, to name a few examples. Have played a few online games in the past as well. Would be happy to play games online with someone, if the opportunity came up.(Good way to break the ice maybe, as well)

I also enjoy a bit of anime, be it your garden variety, or film equivalent. I'm a huge fan of Trigun, and really enjoyed Chobits. Also watched the first season of Hetalia. Outside of that, watched various bits and pieces on TV over the years. In terms of films, really enjoy most things Studio Ghibli, and have seen other things like Perfect Blue, and Paprika. I have a bit of a collection to watch, but I've been awful at getting round to doing so.

I've even attended some anime conventions. A couple in the UK, and one while visiting the United States. Whilst visiting Michigan, I attended a big convention there called Youmacon, and even Cosplayed as Seifer Almasy from Final Fantasy 8.

As well as all that, I like chatting on the computer, web surfing, watching tv, and the occasional movie when one is on the box. With regular TV, I usually like to watch game shows, sports, comedy, and the occasional documentary.

Some sports I enjoy taking an interest would be, Ice Hockey, F1, Football(Soccer), Snooker, Rugby, to name some off the top of my head.

I enjoy occasional walks, and used to play Alto Saxophone for a time.(Hope one day to return to learning it) I love music, and don't know how I would have made it this far without it. I've probably ended up with quite eclectic tastes in music, but wouldn't have it any other way.

As for my personality: I'm empathetic, kind, thoughtful, polite, caring, sharing, loving, honest, open, and silly, but have it in me to be serious too when the situation needs. Sometimes I'm a bit naive, as well as being a bit stubborn and sensitive.(I figure it's only fair I paint a full picture)

I'd love to meet a nice lady, whether close or far away, and see where things go from there. I know not everyone does long distance, but personally I have no issues with it. So feel free to drop me a message, even if your far away. Similar interests would be nice, but not essential.

If I pique your curiosity, please feel free to drop me a message. If you'd feel more comfortable using other platforms of communication, just let me know. I'm on a few different places and spaces. Lastly if you'd care to see a picture, I'll gladly share one with you over pm.

Thank you for your time in reading,
Liam

Hey.

I'll keep this short. I'm Elizabeth, 27, US. I am looking for a decent guy (defined as kind, respectful of others, does not have anger issues, is not abusive) who likes to joke around. I don't care if you don't have a formal education/degree; I'd rather you have life experience that you could share/teach me. I prefer friendship first just so we can get to know each other. If you're interested, then PM me. I'll end it with this quotation: "Don't take life too seriously. You'll never get out of it alive."

Hi!
I am Luke. I have HFA (173 neurodiversity and 44 neurotypical.) I am a 20 year old straight male who is currently living in the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania area going to college trying to get my bachelors in history and pre-law studies.
Interests: I love to read books, study history, watch baseball and memorize baseball stats and watch movies (I love knowing random actors and pointing out their work haha 8) )
Personality: I'm very shy at first. But after I warm up to you (after a fair amount of effort) I've been told that I'm kinda funny! I'm a really kind person on the inside and a hopeless romantic but I have trouble meeting and getting to know people right off the bat. Give me a chance and you won't be disappointed!
Physical Characteristics: I'm 5 foot 7 inches with a curly mop of black hair. I'm of average build with brown eyes. I look rwally Irish and Italian because I'm really Irish and Italian haha
Feel free to PM me!
Thank you!

I'm Mike. I'm a 29-year-old software programmer in Charlotte, NC. I'm 5'11, 198-200, with a bit of a dad bod.
I live in a townhome with a roommate, but otherwise am completely independent; employment has never been an issue, much less anything else. I'm...socially awkward and have been compared to Sheldon way too many times for it to be coincidential, and some psych screenings seem to reinforce this for now. :/ I'm a walking wiki, but I generally keep it toned down, and am really sensitive about scaring off people, coming off as arrogant, or anything to make me an other.

I'm pretty go-with-the-flow, and quick to trust people, sometimes to my own detriment. I don't really have any obsessions per se, but my newest hobby nowadays is blacksmithing; I'm still new to it, but so far I've made a knife, a spear, fireplace poker, and two copper rings. I plan to learn gemcutting/insetting too; I feel that honing a craft will help with self-esteem (and maybe build some muscle too), and the sentimental sappy romantic side of me wants to be able to propose with an engagement ring I made specifically for that occasion.

Otherwise, feel free to message me with whatever.

Hey, I'm Aaron :) I'm 25, 5'7" tall, blonde, with glasses.
I live in Milledgeville, Georgia for the time being, and right now I'm self-employed as a freelance writer. I have two bachelor's degrees, one in animation and one in sociology, and I'm very interested in film. I spend a lot of my time working on creative projects, usually animated short films that take ages to complete. But I would like to find ways to broaden my horizons in the future. I enjoy writing for fun when I get the rare opportunity, and have worked some with short stories and a novel that will probably never see the light of day.

I'm a very ambitious and driven person, but I don't really have a clear idea of where I'm going in life. I struggle a lot with depression and anxiety, and it's made me a little bit too existential in nature. I find it hard to relate to a lot of people or to care about the same things as they do. I want to, but it's hard. Though I also find that I just enjoy the little things in life that I think get taken for granted a lot; things that aren't necessarily fun or exciting. I haven't ever been in a relationship, but simple things like going to the store with a friend or accompanying someone to an appointment are strangely enjoyable for me, and I think that would especially be the case with a significant other. And I like doing nice things for people.

Kind of just giving this a shot for now. I've been spending a bit too much time on my own lately, and this seemed worth a go. I don't have roots down anywhere in particular at the moment, so if I met the right person by some weird chance I would be open to something long distance.

But yeah, that's me in a nutshell :)

Hello, I am Dylan
I am 24, 6 foot 2 inches, brown short hair that grows quickly, and an average build.
I enjoy plants, especially carnivorous ones and have a sizable collection of carnivorous plants both inside and outside the house with a constant need to acquire more. I have recently started a vegetable garden focusing on pumpkins and brocoli.

I am a dishwasher at a dine-in resturant where I work while taking online classes in religion to become a theologian. I currently have an associates degree in science and am trying to move dishwasher to substitue teacher. Other interests include H.P. Lovecraftian stories, comic books, insects, and videogames. I can do 60-70 pushups in a single sitting.

I am normally described as quiet, but when I do start talking I like to discuss whatever random thing pops into my head, whether or not it pertains to the conversation at hand. I try to always be helpful to others when my antisociallness allows me and I don't easily get angry or stressed out; but yelling does really stress me out. I don't drink, smoke, or do anything else considerred remotely bad for you. Finally, I have never dated before and thus have no expereince.

PM me if your a woman who finds any of this mildly interesting.

TXorchid: have you tried dating sites tailored to Christians? Seems like you would have more success there.

Thank you Beau for your suggestion! I don't date online much but have used Christian dating sites for years. I recently decided to seek out Aspie men not just NT men. So, how to find a fellow Aspie on mainstream dating sites, Christian-focused or no? I accept that I have Aspergers; yet even I am reticent to put that out there in an online dating community that may not be understanding about the Autism spectrum. When a great guy omits the fact that he has Aspergers from his mainstream dating ad, there's a side effect: Aspie girls like me who are looking for him can't find him. So, I'm trying here....Who knows what could result?

Friendship and getting wiser about Aspergers is mainly why I'm here. And I believe I will make many new friends here on Wrong Planet. :) Finding an interested guy isn't crucial to my happiness. I view that prospect as icing on the cake.

Too old?
I will give this a try, even though I see that nearly everyone who has posted is much younger. Maybe there are some mature Aspies out there, too? I am a 42 year old female. I am working on a Master's degree and I am employed as a college instructor. My interests are: art, history, gardening, reading. I am pretty active and I want someone who will DO activities with me. I cannot sit at home and watch tv, so a person who can go to Shakespere in the park, or the gardeners' fair, or historical reenactment so is what I am seeking. I have some sensory issues, but I also have some decent coping skills. I have lived this long!! :D
I live in Kentucky. Anybody out there aged 35 - 50?
