Even though no one else can see it (although if my own primary school experience has any significance, they usually do, via skirt pullings from the boys, or comparing), it's something fun for them to wear.
For adults, it's for the men. And yes, the point is what's underneath, but the "wrapping" is still important, since you have to get through it. Personally, thongs and frilly stuff is the most uncomfortable stuff in the world, and I'll still with my boxers thank you very much. But some women will do anything to feel prettier, even stick a piece of string up their arse crack. =____= |
Another chick who likes boxers! I'm not a freak!
I hate butt floss! even those shortie undies give me the creeps. I go for comfort. If it has a nice pattern or colour, good, but not as important as comfort. |

I object to women wearing coloured or print underwear under white pants so that it shows. I would prefer plain underwear that matches my skin tone.

It depends what you mean by 'have a problem'. I think it looks sexy on girls I'm attracted to for other reasons, so I accidentally stare sometimes - I don't find that problematic, but perhaps the girl would. Otherwise I find it unremarkable. _________________ The rule for today.

Ohh, gosh--I hate, hate, hate fancy underwear with a passion.
I just don't get it. I had a roommate who would always buy these weird little fringey thongs and beaded skimpy-things and brag about how sexy they looked. I think they're nasty.
I will never, ever wear a thong, no matter what a guy thinks is sexy. I think they're uncomfortable and just plain awful. My ex-boyfriend loves girls in the boy-shorts variety of underwear, which I was totally comfortable with wearing. I just won't wear something if it makes me feel weird.
And I'm perfectly comfortable with the pretty, functional bikini panties from Victoria's Secret. So I'm stickin' with those.
I feel relieved that I'm not the only one perplexed by fancy underpants. |

What about Bodysuits folks? Are they considered to be lingerie? Or maybe just 1-piece underwear?
For those of you who dont know what they are: a bodysuit is like a leotard, sometimes with long or short sleaves but with a thong seat(for your booty ). I mean, maybe they're used for the same purpose as leotards. |

I find plain underwear boring. I have always liked underwear with design on them or Disney characters. I remember I had Barbie underwear and The Little Mermaid. I also had Ducktales underwear when I was about 7.
The kind of panties I have are granny, bikini and one pair of thong. most of the granny ones are worn out and are about ready to be thrown out. _________________ Aspergers, PDD-NOS, autistic, who cares what diagnoses I have, it's just a label. All on the spectrum. |

Oh gosh, I LOVE LOVE LOVE pretty sexy frilly silly underwear. Reeeally love it. I just love anything pretty and girly, and pretty frilly underwear comes into that pretty well, doesn't it? It's not really for any reason other than I feel really pretty wearing it. And yeah, so what if only the boyfriend actually sees it apart from me (and he never complains; he loves it!), I know it's there, and I feel all girly and pretty, so that's all that matters to me. It just looks really sweet and sexy and fun.
I do have a few preferences though:
HATE g-strings and 'bumfloss' and that kind of stuff
LOVE french knickers and shortie-shorts
LOVE lace
HATE cheap stuff because it loses its colour and goes all grotty and loses its support and shape fast
LOVE colour colour colour
HATE anything showing through my clothes, unless it's meant to (which I think it has meant to once)
As for kids needing to have their optimus prime print undies... I don't know, but my little brother has AS as well and he goes through stages of loving a particular cartoon, and he won't wear anything unless it has that character on it. So my Mum ends up having to iron on transfers of them if she can't find clothes with the character on in the shops!! So if we want him to wear underwear - as we do! - then it has to be with that character-of-the-month. _________________ "Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect." - Mark Twain

Nothing sexy here. I only have a few matching sets of regular underwear and underwire bras. Just as long as it functions well underneath the clothes I'm wearing, I'm fine. I hate it when frilly bits on bras are outlined through my (usually) skinny knit tops, so I always buy smooth cup t-shirt bras.
I sometimes wear a balconette bra for that extra cleavage
I favor seam free bikini's or boylegs when I can. _________________ Watch This Space! |

..I find most of the time the underwear and the jeans get pulled off at the same time, so it hardly even matters.
That being said, I prefer blue ones. Boy-shorts or bikini. Cotton feels better to wear, but nylon is shinier and feels softer to touch. I have lace on my bras only, I think anywhere else it would bother me. |

I like cute underwear, but comfort is more important. I don't like granny panties because there is too much fabric, and sexy underwear is too uncomfortable. A little bit of lace here and there is fine.
The low rise boy shorts by Pink by Victoria's Secret are amazing, so comfortable! They're good if you like tight-fitting jeans, and they're really cute! |

Honestly, for none sexual purposes i think some people like it 'cause they can be themselves and not have to dress for other people.Think about it.You could have a dancing hippopotamus sewn on the crotch of you're panties and no-one would ever know.
And cotton/ satin is more comfortable anyways.*shrug* _________________ .•´¸.•*¨) ¸.•*¨)
