I never really watched Power Rangers, as my mom thought it was too violent. However, I am a big fan of Viewtiful Joe on Gamecube, which was based on the same Japanese style of superheroes as Power Rangers. It is an extremely well made game, though it is short and rather difficult. The upcoming sequel should correct those aspects of the game. The cut scenes are all really funny, with lines like, "I completely forgot about Sylvia!" when Joe realizes that he has been paying more attention to battling the evil Jadow than to trying to find his kidnapped girlfriend Sylvia.

my son is obsessed with the power rangers- he has all of the movies and all of the action figures...( which he does not play with) he has a problem with needing to have "all" of a certain obsessed topic/thing..... he hordes/collects everything from the topic and keeps them all in his room.....
he has the complete power rangers, ninja turtles, star wars, and someother things...
it is not tooo bad right now, but he is only 4 1/2!! LOL

I used to be the same way! Nowadays, I don't need all of a certain topic/thing, but I still search around on eBay (keywords: addams family) for fun (yet I don't actually buy anything).

I like the Hamtaro Ham Rangers, but that's because they're not violent like the Power Rangers. I can't stand violence! Mad

Attention, all Power Ranger fans...there are some original MMPR episodes for sale on iTunes now. They're $2 a pop and definitely worth it if you suddenly get nostalgic over a show you used to watch every day.

I LOVED Power Rangers when I was younger. Tommy was awesome, especially when he was the Green Ranger.

Recently I've seen some old episodes - it's pretty cheesy, but I liked the movie (which was still cheesy, but pretty funny Razz)

I had a MASSIVE obsession with Power Rangers as a kid. Soon that changed to video games though. Power Rangers has grown tired recently and just isn't as good as the first four iterations.

I used to watch it when it aired. Watched it mainly for the Zords and catchy theme music.
However even I realized the show was really repetitive...

I watched the original seasons and Zeo. Still the best scenes were the Green Ranger defeating a super-sized monster by himself with no Zords(now that was impressive) and seeing the Power Rangers get ass-kicked at the end of the original seasons and transitioning to Zeo.
I don't know what ever happened to Master Vile who kicked the Rangers butt, but bring him back. He was the only villian who seemed smart and it payed off. All the other villains were just plain retarded...

Anyway I stopped watching after Zeo. The concept of having super powers from automobiles or rescue vehicles just made no sense to me...

But, if you're really a fan, you'll look into the Power Ranger's true origin...
Super Sentai. The original Japanese show that was butchered to make Power Rangers.
I haven't seen any of it myself... but I hear it is so much better than PR

I think when they scrapped the original characters after Space and got rid of Alpha 5 the show started to go downhill and after Ninja Storm I stopped watching it.
