My friend is having a clothing tiff with her mother.
If a girl wears a skirt that is short but not absurdly so with long socks that end above the knees so that a strip of thigh is showing, is that "sexier" than the skirt alone in some way?
Keep responses relatively clean. Beh! The rules of clothing are so arbitrary!

probably not, but could be, depending on he details. But it's true that revealing a little can be very sexy, even if you're seeing less than you would at the beach.

Depends on your taste, I suppose. For some reason, high socks seem to be considered sexy, especially in combination with a short skirt.

I am not sure about the long socks, I wouldn't know what is in fashion since like most guys, we don't have a clue, all I could say is if she feels that she looks good in them, then it really shouldn't be a problem

| Long socks look good, but otherwise there would be all the more leg showing anyway, so I think there's hardly a difference. |

ordinarily, I would say no real problem (do have a daughter who went through her teenage years already...and some of the stuff she wore would give me heart failure... |

Yes, especially if the socks are striped.
