my first "life" project

Hello friends, I would like to share some notes on a project im working on, I've only spent about an hour on it, but In a nutshell, I want to design a system that will allow us to communicate better with the NT population and Vice versa, communication is a two way street.

its mainly just very very very rough notes and initial observation, keep that in mind.

I wrote these notes for me, keep that in mind too Smile

Just wanted your guys honest opinion on whether I should pursue this or not Smile

Don't hold back your words from me, its cool Smile

If I do pursue this, I think it'll be good for me and if I get really really really really lucky, it might work too.

Design a bridge of communication for autistics to speak to non-autiscis and vice versa. <end goal> <possible thesis for

college> <end of aggrivation on BOTH sides.> the ones who are afraid of us will remain so only as long as they don't understand, learn to communicate to them

in way that redudeces THEIR aggrivation over US> communication is a two way street.

things to do to design the bridge of communication

<My biggest strengths> taking, taking two things and comparing the differences <analyzing>, vocabulary and comprehension

1. Identify the breakdown of communication on both sides.

silly words, words that nts say that upset us<insert blank space here :p> <> autistics do not have a lack of empathy,

they have a lack of understanding what empathy means. Aggravition can be calmed down through understanding ones self <how

can I POSSIBLE empathize with someone else if I can't understand myself> <personal thought need to research> I

understand, so I wont HAVE to get aggrivated to the point of meltdown.

Intuition cannot be taught, lack of understanding can be taught, autistic think in literal terms, often they confuse the

meanings of empathy, compassion, and emotions. while they might never understand those three definations, we are smart

enough to figure out a way to teach them. I my case I knew exactly what emotions were, I literally had the definations of

empathy and compassion confused in my head. BUt I believe intuition can be cultivated, more on that <research>

Understand that many wont understand our plight, instead of the anger that comes from misunderstanding , look for people

that will understand, they're out there, we just don't know how to look. the ones that WANT to understand us WILL when

the communication system is built>

<intution, compassion, empathy, emotions, need a list of definations in front of me and make sure to memorize each one

verbatim for long term memory access, after memorizion analyze how I think nt people view those definations> <empathy> and how that will relate to

the end goal of starting to build a proper communication system for us> <personal note>.

SAFE WORDS, safe words for autistics, safe words for nts. <could be one key, need more analyasis>

learn how to tell people, what they are doing is aggrivated you in a proper social manner, teach them people will try to

hurt them, but that doesn't mean the people that are doing the hurt are doing it on purpose, <seeing hidden agendas where

there are none> <part of empathy>, abuse is wrong <truth>, and abusing others back will only increase your their own pain

in the end. <big picture>. <I can see clearly now>

comminication is a two way street, identify things that aggrivate you, write each one down as it comes to you, regardless

how painful the thought is to you <the feeling of its killing me>. once that list is written down , we can find key

words, words of common understanding to start to build the bridge>

Some people don't WANT to understand, and thats ok..we want to teach those who Want to understand. Identify those who

want to understand correctly. we are the MOST social people on the planet <figure out a way to explain that in the

context of how they view us>, without the NATURAL skills of empathy <building a workable model so the anxiety of not

understanding will be more easily identifiable>.

format needed after system is created, books, Internet, <optimal, <expand on why I think the internet option is optimal>

<personal note>, video, words might not work for some, create some kind of video, whether cartoon or otherwise>.
