so my son made me this bracelet for mothers day. it is very cute and there are 2 little people beads on it. i wore it all of mother's day and most of yesterday but it is a bit uncomfortable becasue it doesn't fit quite right and the little people beads kind of dig in.
how do i not wear it, without hurting his feelings? he is so excited for me to have it, and keeps looking for me to be wearing it. And i am excited to have it as it is my first home made mothers day gift, so i am feeling alittle bit guilty for not wearing it too.
any more experienced mothers have any advice???
thanks

Could you get an extension and wear it as a necklace?

Can you re thread it on similar if not the same type of thread? Or tell him you are saving it for extra special occasions?

Could you tie it to your handbag (zipper?), and tell your child that their bracelet goes wherever mum goes. Just an idea?

How about telling him the truth,
then the two of you can fix it together.

well so i kind of cam up withthe solution myself although it is similar to jbollard. i put it on my key chain and told him it was soi could take it with me all the time and wouldn't forget to put it on.
this way it can remain in it's original state and i asked him if it was okay and he said yes. so that was exciting.
thanks for all the other suggestions.
