i dig the Nerd for a special reason...because i actually own most of the games he's reviewed. TMNT, Roger Rabbit, Back to the Future, Simon's Quest, Bugs Bunny's Birthday Blowout, Fester's Quest, i own all these games and have played them probably more than i should have. so when he started reviewing them i was like "yes! thank you! i'm not alone!".
and Handsome Tom left Screw Attack? sheesh, pardon the geeky reference but the site just took some charisma points for me.

bad communication between him and craig and what seems to be a misinterpretation of roles. tom thought he had a right to be co-owner of screwattack with craig since they both founded it but craig thought that tom needed to show more initiative and show more drive and so instead he just went and got it done on his own.
tom's side was up on the old forum (dunno if it's still up or not) and craig said his part in one of the episodes of sidescrollers.
really, i think they were probably both in the wrong. most likely craig is overly domineering and took charge of things before tom could get to it and so tom let him take the dominant role while still playing a key role and thought that his starting the company with craig along with his active role and contribution should have been enough to warrant ownership, afterall, he did co-found the company.
i think they should both stop acting like little bitches, tom should rejoin, get co-ownership and have a set out drawing somehow of what's expected.
there was too little conversation between them because they are friends and just assume everything...and they assumed too much and talked too little about it and it just turned nasty. sad, really. |

Yes, I have heard of AVGN, and have for the longest time (since the third or fourth YouTube video).
Back a few years ago, I had amassed quite a large NES ROM collection and I can tell you this: AVGN is right. "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" is the single worst video game ever made. It is an abomination. Never play it.

LOVE AVGN! his acount got suspended but then put back up. youtube has made users veryangry. first armake21, now this. spax is ext i bet.
anyway, irate gamer is a stupid knockoff who didnt come first.
armake21 is awsome though soems tupid fanboy hacked him and closed his account. he came before irate
and the AVGN is not a nazi like fanboys say. AVGN fanboys attack armake even though AVGN subscribed to armake. |

You do realize that he is acting and over exaggerating the bad points in the games right?.
In real life some of the games that the nerd reviews are games the actor actually likes, take the Castlevania 2 game in his first review.... James Rolfe likes the game, so he made the video as a joke for his friends, the main part of the joke is the fact that he is reviewing a game that is so old that its not really worth complaining about.
He realized that watching someone getting frustrated at a game was funny, and thus took his friend's advice and posted his first nerd videos online.
The people who actully take the reviews seriously are the 'real angry video game nerds'
