I was thinking about this yesterday while I was under a table.
How are you most comfortable? Sitting/lying on a chair? Or sitting/lying on the floor?
Apart from my bed I will 90% of the time prefer the floor, I love carpets and tiles and wood.
Im always being told to get up, sit up, stop being so childish.
I also love hammocks and swings, im not allowed either though.

Does anyone else like floors or any other odd places?

I'm definitely a floor person.
I also enjoy being upside-down.

The floor is pretty comfortable. Then I don't have to worry about finding the right 'position'. Under tables and stuff is cool too.

I like to sit on my bed. When I'm sitting in a chair I usually sit on one of my feet. When I'm sitting I also have a strange tendency of leaning to the right for no reason.

I'm more likely to rock when I'm sitting on my bed or the floor.

I like to either sit sprawled out or in a sitting-kneeling position.

in a chair I hunch forwards, but actually I like to sleep on the floor, way more comfortable than a creaky bed.

I also sit forward when in a chair. I love hammocks and swings. I usually go to sleep with my head in my computer chair with my pillows in it too and the rest of my body on my bed, I like the feeling of the arms rests next to me. I also can not get comfortable without a fan on, because it feels like the air is not moving, and it is too quiet without it. My favorite thing to do is just sit in my computer chair with my feet on my bed (which is next to my computer) and a blanket on and the fan on, I love the pressure of the blanket and the feeling of the fan. Also when my parents bought a swing for my grandpa when he lived with us, I was usually on it when I was not on the computer.

My parents do not understand why I get uncomfortable when they take me to a place with uncomfortable seats, no air moving, and a clock ticking. It just drives me crazy!

It is hard to find clothes that fit, because I am 15 years old, 6'4" size 16 shoes, and I grow out of clothes a lot, so my parents can usually only find clothes that I don't like to wear, so I only wear them after washing them about 10 times, and cutting the tags off. I can not stand the feeling of tags, they itch like crazy and just generally annoy me.

I can identify wiht you on the fan i can't sleep at night without it on because it gets too quiet and the air circulating cools down my room.

The arm chair in the lounge is where I sit nearly all of the time if i'm not using the computer. It's comfortable. Sometimes I sleep there.

I always have to sit cross-legged, preferably with knees jammed under a desk or table (maybe a pressure thing?). I'd sit like this all the time if I could, but sometimes I get told not to. Then I either put one leg down and sit on the other, or put one knee up and sit on the other. I can do this on a chair or on the floor, but I don't like sitting on most beds because they are soft and don't support in this position.

The leaning to the right thing interests me... That could be a sign that you may have scoliosis... you should go get a spinal x-ray taken... have them take both a standing series and a seated series, there is no need to take a series laying down since you are able to walk... scoliosis is quite common in sensory integration disordered people.

I like to sit on a soft couch, with my feet up.

Thats really interesting, so nobody so far likes having their legs down?
I liked having the fan on when I was in the Caribbean but at home (England) I have all windows and doors shut with no air, no matter how hot, a bat flew into my room when I was young and if something happens once then I can never do it again.

I have to be sitting on at least one leg. Smile In school we had the desks with the chairs attached, and I'd always sit in them with my knees pulled up to my chin. I think it's the pressure. I can't stand leaving my legs hanging down. I feel like I'm going to fall off.
