| Today i am feeling sad , i have sent lots of emails trying to make online friends on Wrongplanet , also i use msn too , But for some reason i still can't get friends. I like animals,video games , dvds, celebrites. I have always been known as WEIRDO because i cant even have 1 FRIEND . |

Well I've made some friends online. I don't know sometimes it takes patience. You can pm if you want, I usually do respond back.
As for weirdos, I think everybody's weird in their own way. I'd rather be a weirdo than one who conforms to the standards of sheep. You also might be trying too hard, friendship is a means of communication where you try and connect amd relate to that person. Not easy if you're an aspie because we get sidetracked about our own interests. Asking about themselves is a good start.
Keep a connection to someone who shares one of your interests, you might find a friend and not an acqauintance.

Hi babycakes221, maybe you should not try so hard, too alot of people, its sort of like having an annoying salesman, trying to sell you something. You really should be more careful, online as there are predators everywhere, MSN, Yahoo, and WP included, but outright asking people on WP some of whom are anti social, may be very difficult. I am sure you will find plenty of friends on WP, try not to enlist friends. |

I suggest that you respond to some member's posts and maybe try to start a conversation with them but don't stalk them or anything. Just read a couple of threads and find someone you may want as a friend and quote them. Hopefully they are still online and will respond to your post and a conversation will start. Another good way is to offer help to someone in the Haven that is having trouble. I know I enjoy having someone lift my spirits when I'm down.

I like the suggestion about you responding to some of the posts of a WP member that you like. There used to be a time, when I didn't have any friends.

Everyones a weirdo, theres no such thing as someone who completely conforms to "the norm".
Anywho, I like video games and animals, dvds are okay, don't care much for celebs tho. But if you wanna talk about video games and animals that'd be cool

I spoke with her , she just seems to have a lot of problems and doesn't get out much but overall she seems decent. Just the constant thread spamming is immature.
