Loved it!

It may not have been as good as the first, but it was damn funny! Smoking weed with the president alone made the movie worth seeing.

I ended up seeing this with a friend and when the two gay guys started making out towards the end, my (straight) friend yells out "Yeah, I want in on that action!" and people turned around and stared at us! Laughing Embarassed

Yeah, but the beginning of the movie seemed particularly lame. Like the first movie was sometimes funnier because things were suggested or caricaturized. The first 15-20 minutes of the sequel was too explicit that it just wasn't funny anymore. For example: there was a trailer for the commercial that was actually really funny, where they took a scene of one of the Jewish guys describing a graphic sex act, and replaced all the graphic words with ridiculously innocent ones. That commercial was hilarious. But when you watch the movie, and all the graphic words are intact, it's not really funny. It's just like, ho-hum, two guys talking about sex. What else is new?

It got better though, and the Pres Bush scene was one of the best. I also loved the pre-weed Kumar & Harold in the libary.

Also, it was great to see Chris Meloni (from Oz and Law & Order: SVU) play another character in the sequel. He was almost unrecognizable, except in voice, as the boil-covered Freakshow in the original movie. This time, he played the KKK Grand Wizard. Now that is a guy with a great sense of humour.
