For the first time, I thought an episode of South Park was too weird for me.
But it was probably just a fluke, and I have confidence in the rest of season 12. _________________ When you need something, that's a responsibility, that only an adult...of my maturity...Bunnies!!!

They'll never be like the old seasons 1-6 epsiodes. The old episodes of south park are much more entertaining to me.
I'm not very fond on how they've replaced some characters, like Officer Barbrady with those two normal-intelligence cops.
To me, there's something missing from the new episodes of South Park that the old episodes had. |

The whole Indiana Jones plot.
The plot about China taking over the world was funny, though. _________________ When you need something, that's a responsibility, that only an adult...of my maturity...Bunnies!!!

Oh ok... I was expecting that it was some kind of Christianity-bashing plot or something to get your gander up...
I haven't watched past Season 4 of south park because I'm waiting for them to release to box set DVDs of S5 in Australia. I can't just jump to S10 or imaginationland. _________________ Gavin.

No, you're very pro-Christian I thought that if South Park really decided to give Jesus a serious bashing or if they gave the baptists? the same sort of treatment that they'd extend towards say... a wacky (sorry if this offends anyone) religion like Scientology - then you'd (possibly) get annoyed with them.
I have friend who won't watch it at all because Jesus is in it. _________________ Gavin.

My parents think I am treating women as objects simply because I watch shows like that. _________________ When you need something, that's a responsibility, that only an adult...of my maturity...Bunnies!!!

I thought the new episode was pretty good... though it's not quite as good as some of the older ones. While Season 12 has had its moments (the strong recurring theme of internet culture is great), I don't think these episodes are quite as good as the Season 10/11 ones. But, who knows, they might get quite a bit better over the next few weeks. |

Ha.
Tim_Tex,
The creators of South Park are big Star Wars and Indiana Jones fans (just look at the billion and three references to both universes throughout the episodes), and it's them showing their distaste for what Spielberg and Lucas have done with the "new" ones.
I'm in the Butters camp, however, as I liked the new Indy [and the new Star Wars stuff]. |
