Does anyone else watch it?

I really like the show because what those people is risky and a lot of people do take risks in life. I watch the whole third season and seen all the four to date.

If I have the remote, it is usually on Discovery or History channel,so I have seen both these...also like the "underground" show and Dirty Jobs<--that guy is funny. I am not a risk taker and can't imagine choseing these jobs, I hate being cold.

Yeah I watch all those shows. I have a lot of respect for the men on Deadliest Catch and how physically and mentally strong they have to be to endure that. Its one demanding job. Did you see the episode where the guy went overboard in arctic waters?

I like some of the episodes of Dirty Jobs, sometimes its hilarious, but sometimes its so dirty its disgusting. Watched the whole season of Ice Road Truckers and liked it. I've seen a few of the Underground Places episodes that were interesting like the one last night where they showed tunnels to underground springs in Israel. Stuff like that intrigues me.

it's a great show. fishing out in the cold and windy open ocean is crazy and those people must have a strong stomach for the job. i wouldn't survive that type of situation, socially or anything else.

i also watch dirty jobs, mythbusters, and occasionally, man vs. wild, and survivorman.

I know a couple of guys out on crab boats and yes, you have to be a risk-taker, but they all do it for the same reason. The Money! (plus they like to prove to both themselves and otheres how "manly" they are Very Happy ) I would never "up the risk" of my life for some cash personally, but all of you crab-eaters out there should be grateful. It is considered the most dangerous job in the world and I think the odds are something like 1 out of 5 will suffer injury or death.
The industry (fishing and crabbing) as a whole is one of the top employers in the state.
