I just saw the Iron Man movie. Unlike many modern movies that have lots of explosions, this one actually had a very competent screenwriter! This movie had a little bit of comedy where it was appropriate. Lots of action, excellent script , great cast. See it on the big screen, perfect movie for Aspie/Autie geeks! Very Happy

Forgot to mention, there is a teaser after the credits about another upcoming Marvel comics movie for those who want to stay a couple extra minutes.

Not long now! It's out today, but i'll be watching it bank holiday monday. I just realised that's one of the reasons why they released it this weekend, too! bank holiday monday, extra audience.

Saw it yesterday with a friend, it was good but not as good as Transformers.

waaaaayyyyyyyyy better than Transformers.

I was surprised at the age of the audience, I expected it to be mostly people in their teens and 20s, but Id say the average age was 45!

I totally enjoyed this movie, and Im not a superheroes fan, didnt know anything about it, but the story explained itself well, and was fun to watch.

And Jon Favreau had a cameo, can't get better than that!

I liked it but thought it was fairly overrated. Way too much hyperbole on AICN-type movie geek sites. Robert Downey Jr. kicked ass, the part where he was building the suit was great, and the action sequence midway through was awesome, but the thing was, there were only two other action sequences, really, and neither of them were to my liking. (The end fight wasn't nearly as awesome as I'd wanted it to be, for example.) Also I just don't like Gweneth Paltrow; she was horrible in Sky Captain and she's horrible in this. XD By and large though I had fun with it....

shame they didnt go to the true origins of Ironman

with FF they did the same thing , they used a spacestation instead of a rocket

Picky, picky.

you've got to realize that they probably used one of the many different incarnations of the origins of iron man
