I just took a test online and scored as more neurotypical than aspie. How is this possible? I was diagnosed with asperger's since age three!
Your Aspie score: 86 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 126 of 200
You are very likely neurotypical
Oh, and the quiz can be found here for anyone interested. |

Perhaps you had interventions that helped you learn how to fake NT better? I'm curious what they are if you have. _________________ Just because one plane is flying out of formation, doesnt mean the formation is on course....R.D.Lang

OK, this is wierd. My score:
Your Aspie score: 122 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 83 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie
The pattern:
It looks very different from how it used to look.
Does this mean I am an aspie that communicates better with NTs?!?!?
That STINKS(said in a little kid whiny type voice for effect!)!
I liked it better before when everyone I thought was a true Aspie had the SAME type of pattern on the graph. That was NEAT!
One more thing:
No Question Choice Aspie NT
28 Do you enjoy meeting new people? 1 0.00 2.35
29 Are your views typical of your peer group? 0 0.00 0.00
30 Do you enjoy hosting or arranging events? 0 0.00 0.00
31 Do you have an interest for the current fashions? 0 0.00 0.00
32 Do you prefer the company of those of the same generation as yourself? 0 0.00 0.00
33 Do you enjoy gossip? 0 0.00 0.00
Aspie score in this section: 0 of 0
Neurotypical (NT/non-autistic) score in this section: 2 of 19
Don't NTs like ALL of this? What answer would have given an AS score?
Or what about:
NT HUNTING
No Question Choice Aspie NT
102 Do you find it difficult to take messages on the telephone and pass them on correctly? 0 0.00 2.35
103 Do you drop things when your attention is on other things? 0 0.00 1.57
104 Do you have problems filling out forms? 0 0.00 1.96
105 Do you find it hard to recognise phone numbers when said in a different way? 1 0.71 0.20
106 Do you have trouble reading clocks? 0 0.00 1.18
107 Do you mix up digits in numbers like 95 and 59? 1 0.51 0.20
Aspie score in this section: 1 of 7
Neurotypical (NT/non-autistic) score in this section: 7 of 8
I get almost a perfect NT score for this? |

Well, your score is closer to what mine was last time, and your graph DOES look closer to what I remembered. As for my score changing, some of the questions are kind of iffy. That is the reason why, on the last two tables, I had so many 1s. Ideally, it should be 2s or 0s. Still, every time I have taken it, whether I answered as now, or as I remember when I was a kid, generally, or subjective based on the moment, it said I am probably an aspie, or something stronger. So I guess, subjectively, I am happy for that.
I ALSO wrote a letter to one of the persons managing some AANE get togethers. I hope Jamie is comfortable, and answers my questions in a way I am comfortable. I might just end up getting involved there. Anyway, I told Jamie... If I DON'T have AS, it is DARN close! |

It might depend on the day as well. I dont think that youre not an aspie just cause the test looked different. If i take it a million times in a row, i bet mine will look slightly different as well. And your score still said you were aspie so |

| Oh well, there IS still a PARTIAL pattern, except on Brandon_M's. Talent, Compulsive, and activity, on the AS side among the highest. And that WAS the most prominant area before. |

| This thread is an illustration of the discrepancy between online tests and clinical diagnosis. |

How so...I scored 163/200 and was DXed AS. It seemed pretty accurate for me. _________________ Just because one plane is flying out of formation, doesnt mean the formation is on course....R.D.Lang
