strapples, i can agree with what your saying, i want the phpbb search back,
alex, please, its just harder to see and not much serach results back with the google adsense or google based search, if the server load is too great, cant you just span wp on a couple of servers or get a rack mount??

| It sure would be great to have the search function back. Having been on and off this site for several years, I notice that many threads get repeated time after time. If people could search to see if there's already a thread on a subject, then they would have the benefit of reading previous users' experiences, and fewer threads would need to be started. There are only so many times I can reply to a thread about whether or not to come out of the closet before I give up and stop repeating myself. |

Alex.. turn on the good phpBB search functon and leave it on already... the google one is crap...

| It works when looking for "authors", which is handy if you're trying to find your long lost buddy. But you're right, when you search for a keyword the Google search is worthless. |
