so Cool I guess I dont need to visit these forums anymore.....cuz I dont have aspergers.
Anybody else not have Asspergers because they dont like/arent good/suck at math?

Lol, I've had someone tell me before that I must not have AS because i'm terrible at math. I think it's rather amusing how people latch onto certain stereotypes...especially the "If you have aspergers you must be great at math" one.

I haven't encountered this, but then not many people know that I have AS.
My AS is quite prevalent, but math is my weak subject. Someone's perception of us is seriously flawed. I wish they went together though, because I'd either not have AS or I would blow through my math courses like nothing at all.

Nope I hate math and don't understand most of it, I must be on the complete opposite of the spectrum.

| First off, it is Asperger, not assberger, I ask you to please respect this diagnoses and not put it down in such a way. And not all people with AS like math, I admit, when I was younger, I hated it! But now, I love it, and see everything in a mathematical way. I like math because it is predictable, and of course, because it is just plain fun to work with numbers, but I experience them completely different than most of my peers. |
