Hi, I'm visiting Los Angeles to talk at UCLA. I told them I would stay with a friend (hotels are boring). Well, my friend is going to be out of town and I don't think he's still going to let me stay in his house.
Anyway, if you live in LA and want to host me, I'll do a similar favor if you're visiting DC and want to stay at hotel Wrong Planet (my house). I'm looking for a cool person who will show me around town. I'll be arriving on Wednesday May 28 and leaving Saturday May 31.
You'll also get a free Wrong Planet tshirt.

I live in Santa Maria, CA, which is about a 2-3 hour drive from LA.
I have a guest room with a fold out bed, Satellite TV, wireless internet, and I'll even cook for you.
How's that? |

its so cool that you are going to get to speak at a big university. Im sorry, I cant help you find a place to stay in LA, but If I had a big 5 room apartment in downtown LA, I would let you spend the weekend there for sure, bro.

Sorry, I'm in Ohio. Scoey might be the closest who's offered so far... but he's not a member anymore after the spamming I thought. Sorry if I'm not supposed to be asking, but how come the "banned" rank and X next to the avatar doesn't show when the banned person only has a couple posts? I've seen that happen with another guy too.
