Hope I don't miss out any of you.

Prof_Pretorius, I apologise if I was a bit harsh. I appreciate your welcoming of me although I was doubtful that you read my post because you replied so quickly. I thank you and extend my hand to shake yours in an offering of friendship.

JerryHatake, Tim_Tex, Quartermass are all excused for not going along with my requests because I really appreciate the welcome's offered and have enough replys to get me by.

DivaD gets a special 10 point mention because 'wibble' was confusing until I read you signature.

Now to the people who stated info and asked a question, thank you!!!

Alaspi:
'hot sauce is HOT!' That got me thinking, I wanted to come up with a way of proving you wrong. If you put hot sauce in the fridge (Tobasco Sauce), it would be cold. BUT it would still be spicy hot. I can only agree with you and appreciate you contribution to my knowledge bank, that will be filed in the 'definite' section.

My favourite foods are many. I love chicken... I also love Tobasco Sauce. I could go on and on. In fact, I think you could ask me if I like a particular food and my answer would be 'yes' or 'haven't tried it'.

MyscticSong:
'Remember the anthem of the kilted yaksmen' Stimpson J Cat aka Stimpy. That is an interesting statistic. 'GWBush hating' is one of my favourite things to do, no offence to anyone who likes him (his Mum for example). I just think he is an easy target.

I don't always try to push people into what I want them to do. I am often percieved as irritating though, one of my many flaws. My post was an attempt of humour and a bit of fun, I am kind of new to this thing and just wanted to put it out there for people to tell and ask me something so I feel a bit more comfortable. I didn't intend on upsetting anyone.

rekoil:
Special 10 point mention for wordplay appreciation 'silleriously'
I understand your point about calming down and not being so harsh toward Prof_Pretorius. I have offered an apology and sincerely hope he will accept. As I submitted my post, I kind of expected a bit of non-compliance and critisism. This was intended to be a fun way to get to know each other.
Aaah, your question is a good one. I have Crohn's Disease (an inflammatory bowel disease) and Ligamentous Laxity (double joints/hypermobility). CROhnsLIGAmentousLAXity. I think the robot on my Avatar is CroLigaLax-like, I mean the name suits him.

krex:
I know I'm not the boss of you, but I'm surprised that your cats are. Actually, most cats are the boss of their human partner. Cats are nice, I was raised in a dog family because my Mum is allergic to cats.
I understand the most common co-morbids of AS are Depression, Anxiety and Nonverbal learning disorder. Please inform me if I am wrong. I have suffered from depression and anxiety sporadically for 20+ years and intensely in the last 8. I won't go into my problems too much, I just thought WP may be a good coping tool for me and I hope to make some friends I can relate to.

makuranososhi:
I endeavour to be honest and assertive, I don't want to come across as arrogant though. Typing this was quite easy for me. In a real human contact situation, I would struggle to state my desires so clearly.
I like your tongue twister, I paced myself and it seemed to slide right off untif the second half of the second line. I had to pause Embarassed

I want to thank everyone for making me feel welcome and taking part in my poll.

You are correct about depression, anxiety, and NVL. I wish only to add a few others that I have learned here that I have found personally helpful to know.

Executive function difficulties
OCD
Auditory processing disorder
dylexia/dyspraxia
ADD/ADHD

There also seems to be a higher then average incidence of immune dysfunctions that are linked to an over active immunity system (reverse aids?)..these can result in thyroid problems, fibromyalgia, IBS, allergies, arthritis, MS (my boyfriend), and crohn's. Some of these may not show up until our later years but I hope to see more research in possible connections in the near future...(I suppose we will have to wait for the current batch of DXed kids to get old because the experts don't seem to want to pay to much attention to the fact that AS has been around a lot longer then the DX...ooops Twisted Evil ...forgot to take off my invisibility cloak again.

Hope you enjoy WP. Lots of kids running amok but a pretty good family in all Very Happy

Can you explain that, please? I don't have any idea what you are referring to!

MysticSong, I hope I don't offend and Canadians. But a mention of Canada tends to trigger memories of this. I used to be obssessed with Ren & Stimpy through my teens...

Thank you both for the comments on the twister; if you're not familiar, it is the one that stymies the boy so in Stephen King's "IT"... since I could not pronounce R or S well as a child, it became kind of a challenge for me. It still sounds like bacon sizzling in the pan, but I manage.

Not arrogant... perhaps strong leading to sense that could be overbearing, but not to that extent that I have seen. It isn't a bad thing; it's a you thing, so don't worry about it. Text provides a sanctuary... in that I can agree fully.

I remember that all too well.

Since that particular tune was done to God Save the Queen,
or My Country, 'Tis of Thee in American usage, I thought of an
alternate set of lyrics to be sung to Rule Britannia:

To guard our forests on yak back, our duty calls
Our kilts speak of our steadfastness no matter what lot falls
Our kilts speak of our steadfastness no matter what falls
For living or dying, our watchword shall always be
"Canadians, now and for ever, shall be free!"

Chorus:

Kilted Yaksmen! Our yaksmen rule the trees,
Canadians, now and for ever, shall be free.

I don't know 'Rule Britannia'
I used to change the lyrics of our school song and national anthems at our school assemblies. Some of my peers got kind of annoyed at my making a mockery of the national anthem.

What rolls down stairs
Alone or in pairs
Rolls over your neighbor's dog
Tastes great for a snack
And fits on your back
It's log, log, LOG!
It's log, log, it's big, it's heavy, it's wood!
It's log, log, it's better than bad, it's good!

...Log, from Blammo...

My favorite episode involved the rubber nipple salesmen.

Oh, I see - sort of.. I didn't actually watch the clip. I had to watch Ren & Stimpy when I was forced to babysit 15 years ago and it just drove me nuts.

Honestly, I wish I were more like you in being able to feel unafraid to try to be comfortable. I on the other hand cannot seem to get myself to do anything the slightest bit pushy as I feel like I will automatically irritate others. I figure it's the greater good for me to warm up to them in my own way than to force them to make me feel comfortable since I'm obviously only one person where as they could be many many more than that (say 5!)

BTW, Hi! I am a passive aggressive.

Did you know 6 x 9 = 42 ?

We have to remember that there is no "tone" in typed text. I thought you sounded like an pushy jerk too, but then I thought, given the nature of this board........."Could he be trying to be funny? Kidding around?"
