I play Wii on my 36" Sony CRT-HDTV. What kind of television do you play yours on?

The Wii is prety cool, I personaly play the 360 but I am a deep fan of Nintendo still. The name is a bit funy but the reason it is cslled that it is suposed to also mean 'we' as in everybody, also it looks like 2 people playing. I am going to get one soon and I am planing on getting Zelda, Pokemon and Brawl, what other good games are there, I know that a few of the games are a bit dodgey.

same here. if they got that (plus HD i think) i think Nintendo would have things in the bag.

i got a Wii. i play it on my step-dad's 5 foot wide digital TV (awesome).

extrapolation, what're some of your favorite games? Virtual Console or otherwise. i play the Trauma Center games the most, although now that i've downloaded Super C that's starting to take SERIOUS precedence.

Hey guys! My town's having this thing called, "Random Acts of Fun," in which one of the events you can play Wii/ Do you think I should ask my town's mayor if I can exchange PBR codes with the town's official Wii, & have, "Hey everyone! See POKEMONMASTER260 kick your butt at PBR on Wi-Fi while he sits in bed & you're out in the streets in a public event!"

I am so disappointed that Street Fighter IV isn't coming out on the Wii. Sad I bought a Wii over a year ago and I still don't have any good games on it. So far most of them haven't been very good quality. The only thing I like about it is the virtual console and the backwards compatibility with GameCube games.

There's a game called Madworld that is coming out on Nintendo consoles in the future and it looks like a mature game. Here's a preview from ONM

Since the Wii is the new Nintendo entertainment system, are people going to start calling it the Wii-NES? Razz And by that logic, does that mean the people who play it are Wii-nees? Razz

I play on a 51cm (20inch?) NEC CRT TV with mono sound..... YEAH!!! *sarcasm* I am currently saving for an HD LCD TV although I don't know if my partner will let me buy one...

The quality of my TV is one of the reasons I got the Wii instead of 360 or PS3 (price was also). My partner wanted a Wii too, so I had little choice. But I do love my Wii.

I agree to some extent about the Wii needing more mature and online games, but the 360/PS3 covered that market. I love the Wii's control sytem, I find it more intuitive and I haven't met someone who hasn't enjoyed playing it at my place.

TheAPERSON, thanks for the link. MadWorld looks MAD, ver Siny City-ish. I love cel-shaded graphics (ala XIII from PS2), I guess that will have to join the wishlist along with 'No More Heroes' and 'Okami'. I also have Super Smash Brothers Brawl on pre-order (it comes out on the 26th of June 08 ), I don't think Nintendo regards Australians as it best customers.

I have a decent collection of games, below is a list of what I have and a comment about each. (I hope it is a bit helpful and informative, feel free to ask any questions about these games)

Zelda: Twilight Princess
Awesome game, first game I ever got totally hooked on. I did have a couple of issues with the camera angles and controls, nothing I couldn't get used to or forgive. I played for 11 hours straight on day/night (only a couple of food/toilet breaks). 75 hours of play time to complete (not yet 100%). Every Wii owner should have this.

Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition
I loved this game also, shooting zombies is so much fun. This was my first Resident Evil game and I regret I never played the ones before it. The puzzles are great, the bosses are awesome and the briefcase and weapons is cool in the sense that you have to be careful with your ammo and build on your weapons. The atmosphere is capture so well with creepy and suspense building music. Another Wii 'must have'.

Super Mario Galaxy

Great addition to the Mario franchise. Difficult in spots but quite an easy game to play (I did have to consult online game guides a couple of times though Embarassed I think it is extremely well made and it doesn't need violence, game play makes it entertaining. To be honest cutesy stuff usually annoys me but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Wii Fit
My girlfriend really likes this game and is making some progress. I am a procrastinator. As a tool for exercise though, I think it's great. I love the balance exercises, the aerobic exercises are great for building up a sweat and I have to admit that I am bit soft for the muscle exercises and don't have the attention span for the yoga. A good package with the Wii fit and better than paying for gym fees in my opinion. I just feel a little guilty because I don't commit to it enough and it says Im overweight.... Embarassed

WiiPlay, WiiSports, Mercury Meltdown Revolution and Warioware: Smooth Moves
These games are excellent in the sense that they use the Wiimote the way it should be used. Play and Sports are entertaining for short term or playing with mates. Mercury Meltdown Revolution is a great puzzle game, I haven't given it enough time though. WarioWare: Smooth Moves, however, I found to be very addictive and the cut scenes are kind of entertaing too. I recomend it if you get it on sale like I did.

Super Paper Mario
I loved this game too, it had a bit too much reading and it could have had more hours of gameplay to the story (I am a bit lazy to go looking for hidden things). The humour is really cheesy but I liked that. A good addition to the Mario franchise, the RPG aspects are what make the gameplay great.

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, Mario Kart Wii, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Bully: Scholarship Edition and Mario Strikes Charged Football
I like all these games, I haven't given them my full attention though and hope to someday get through them. I was really into Bully and making great progress but got distracted with Super Mario Galaxy. Mario Kart Wii and Mario Strikers are respectful and very entertaining although they are not great enough for me to dedicate all my time to and I seem to get very embarrassed being a regular online loser. Lego Star Wars is a decent button masher, if I was about 15 years younger I would love it. As a Star Wars fan though, it does have some appeal. Metroid I haven't even looked at because I want to finish Bully first and can see my attention being taken by it.

Ghost Squad and Mario Party 8
I probably wouldn't bother with these..... (my girlfriend did give Mario Party 8 a good go though)
