Do you feel unfortunate to have aspergers? If so, let me know why.

Being human sucks. I wish I were a tree.

now, now Willard! LOL

Sometimes. It did before I knew what I had. Now I'm pretty okay with it. I've learned coping mechanisms, and I'm happier since discovering why I am like I am.

Asperger's has it drawbacks, but not knowing any different I choose to accentuate the positives, and forgive myself when I make mistakes or do things that are considered odd.

I'm okay with it.

Nah, human society sucks. AS only sucks because we have to live in it.

The only thing that sucks is I didn't know for too long. Ironically, my family has it, and I found out all my friends/co-workers are Aspies. So yeah, I sort of lived in an Aspie world and didn't know about it.

As I sit in self imposed isolation, nauseated, fatigued and mentally confined to a psychical void I can't help but answer 'yes.' For me it sucks, it sucks hard.

I feel very lucky to have AS. It makes me the unique individual that I am.

Well my friend tells me were all human and we all make mistakes...

It makes me feel a bit better.

But I do feel better and lucky knowing there is a reason why I have acted the way I have in the last 26 years. I am not offical Dx but I know and feel in my heart that I am.

I don't mind it as an adult with many years of practiced coping skills behind me.
It sucked when I was a kid.
Like any "monster" that any of us on this earth deal with.... once you put your monster on a leash... and make it work for you... it doesn't seem like the enemy anymore.

(Raise your hand if like me, you needed to say "enemy-anymore" about ten times.) Very Happy
