Yes there are girls who don't give a crap about fashion. I don't. I wear black tee shirts, gray sweaters, blue jeans, & sneakers every single day. I never deviate from that uniform until the clothes develop holes that are too major to repair. Then, my S/O finally insists I go shopping, where I purchase exactly the same item. I just don't care about clothing. I would rather spend my money on books and records. You know, the *important* things in life!

No, I'd still feel really guilty. I may shop at Express instead of Charlotte Russe for better clothing quality (Express lasts longer I swear, Charlotte Russe has nice clothes, but they mess up too easily- a tank top I bought there for ten bucks broke in two months and so on with other clothes from there). But Express is a far cry from prada and gucci. I'd buy a house, invest, give some to family, save, take a vacation, move to a state I actually like.... oh oh go to aspen during sundance and watch movies all day long for a week or however long it lasts. i like what squidy said about books.

There are probably more girls here who dont care about labels than those who do here. I'm 100% sure on that.

You can get like 20 cute purses for that price instead of one!

This is why I prefer other Aspies, because socioeconomic status is less important to us.

I don't care about fashion, or brand names. However, I REFUSE to pay much for clothes, I just don't see it being worth it. If I really really want something, I might go as high as $20, otherwise I usually stick to the $5 and under sales racks.

Being a full-time student, I always try to make my existing clothes last as long as possible.

I would say so, from what I've read, some have posted. Smile

I guess it's easy for me to say this being a guy, but I've always thought fashion was overrated. Not just what women call fashion but guys as well. I don't give a damn what's "in," I'll wear whatever I want and I don't care what anyone else thinks.

Clothing can also tell a lot about a person, so I suppose it depends on what you call fashion. If you mean (boring) big named brands only, which cater to women like Lindsay Lohan and Beyonce (beautiful, but blandish in personality imo), than fashion takes on a WHOLE different sense than other fashinable women like for example Dita Von Teese, Mia Kirshner, or the girls from Eisley (all different). Fashion that represents who a person is is intereting to me because it becomes a way of expressing one's self. I tend to like people who know what they like and feel good in it and have a certain eclectic look. It seems like an art-form to them and I believe it can show creativity as well as any painting, musical track, or book.
