That was not the point I was trying to make, oscuria.

On WP, you can indulge yourself in taunting & ridiculing people with religion. But woe be to you for expressing your disgust at sodomy!

This I hate. Mad

On the sixth day, god was tired. He had just created light, the earth, animal and plant life, and the universe as a whole. He decided to let loose since it was his friday night. After he had about 2 or 16 bud lights, he got a very bad idea. He thought it would be very funny to create a type of animal that had animal instincts but also extreme intelligence that conflicted with their instincts. After he created this bastard creation he got another bad idea. He split them into groups and told them individualy that they were his favorite people. He thought it would be hilarious to watch them all fight in his name. They did.

The next morning god wakes up totally hungover. He says "Ohh my god!! What have I done"? Then he rested.

Then humanity argued with god, saying, "THIS IS MADNESS!" in which god replied, "NO, THIS IS SPARTA!" and pwns humanity into an apocalypse for the lulz.

But seriously, lighten up people it's a joke. I think the PPR on occasion needs some humor to detract from hostilities.

Oh, come on, what is this? Take a look at what you are saying. You can't honestly believe that a joke like what the OP posted, or a comment like mine could actually be called ridiculing your beliefs. Have you actually READ what I've said, or read INTO it what you want to BELIEVE? I mean, It was a joke, so why are you taking it seriously in the first place? None of the others are worried about it. Why is it that if someone who isn't religious or who believes in God who makes a comment in these forums is someone who should be ridiculed and have their character assassinated; while the religious can say whatever they like? And then when someone puts up a harmless joke, they cry foul and think the world is coming to an end.

Oh, I was not actually attacking the beliefs themselves, it was the ATTITUDE of the PEOPLE who see them as the be-all and the end-all of everything that surrounds them. If you feel offended, then I apologize, but to me, a joke is a joke.

A joke is a joke, I agree. But an offensive joke is no less offensive for being a joke. A joke is a joke, even it's in poor taste.

Can you take a joke like that?

Yes. And I've heard some of the best ones around. George Lopez, George Carlin, Carlos Mencia, Jim Davidson, Rowan Atkinson, Robin Williams, Bill Engvall, Bill Hicks, Monty Python, The Goodies, Rodney Carrington, Bob & Tom, Weird Al Yankovic, Billy Connolly, Carl Barron, Barron Knights......

I've heard them all, and all of them are top notch humour. Even Dr Seuss parodies are hilarious.

Did you hear that Jesus went to Sydney recently to have a look at what was happening. He stayed for a while, but got arrested. When he got back to heaven his father asked him how it went. 'Dad it went like this' he said. 'All I was doing was walking around, minding my business and a cop car pulled up and these two large coppers got out and arrested me. I asked "What's the problem?" and they said that in Sydney it was a crime to be spending 3 days hanging 'round the Cross'.

Why are most of your stars seven-pointed?

Kings Cross. You have to be Australian to know it; though I guess anyone who's been to Sydney has heard of the Cross.

The large 7 pointed star refers to the 6 states and territory that formed Australia at Federation. The others just happen to be designed that way, but they form the Southern Cross. The Union Jack represents our past heritage from the Brits.

BTW, jokes lose their humour if they are explained.
