| Haha! I saw this thread title and thought it was going to be some weird question about whether people being charged with crimes should be read the traditional Miranda Rights or a pidgin version in order to ensure complete understanding, or something like that. (Pidgin = a grammatically simplified form of a language, used for communication between people not sharing a common language). Obviously, I got here from the home page and didn't see it was in the computer forum. |

Heh, I also thought it was something that; I though "Pidgin" was somebody's name in some case-law I hadn't heard of ( "Pidgin vs. State of Delaware"). IOW, "is the Miranda warning better or worse than the Pidgin warning" |

I do use Pidgin, but Miranda is Windows only... therefore I will vote Pidgin, as every time I "use" Miranda, it fails to function (on Linux). _________________ Oregano, n: The ancient Italian art of pizza folding.

I much prefer Pidgin. Miranda is too "bare". _________________ Kind regards,

| I'd prefer that Miranda be on Unix operating systems, but it isn't so my vote will have to go towards Pidgin. |
